PS3 Instant YLOD on a CECHK04; solutions?

Hello,

I recently found my old PS3 gaining dust, and decided to take it.
It was put on there because it did not work anymore (instant YLOD), and I'd like to try to fix it.

It is a CECHK04, and it was last played on 2021/2022 (?).
One day, it started to turn itself off from the high temps, I still remember the overheat notifications from webmanMOD.

Now, it shows an instant YLOD upon powering it on. Around a year ago I tried to fix it by replacing the thermal paste on both the CELL and the RSX, with no success.

I'm kinda new to this. What should I do?
Many thanks in advance.

Retrieve the SYSCON error log and post it here. I would estimate a guess of 1002 and 3003s present in the logs, though posting the log codes off the unit will tell for sure where the problem actually is.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I don't have the necessary equipment (specifically the USB TTL adapter and maybe the cables), so it might take me a few days.

Thank you! :-)

there are my options for it
USB TTL adapter u can get a CH341A(has programming and TTL mode and is the one i am using) or can get a FTDI one
