PS3 Invalid Username or Password Trying to Sign into PSN with New or Existing Account

I recently purchased a jailbroken PS3 online because I wasn't able to do it myself. I have firmware 4.84.

I created a new PSN on my phone and tried signing in on my PS3. I enabled 2-factor authorization as well. When I try signing in, it says "incorrect username or password". However, I have another (non-jailbroken) PS3 and I was able to sign into this new account just fine.

I then tried to create a new account from the jailbroken PS3 itself and got the same error. After that, I tried to use my current PSN account that I use on my PS4 & PS5 but still, "incorrect username or password".

I've tried installing the PSN patch and switching over from DEX to CEX, and still nothing. I also tried changing my DNS but I'm still getting the same message. I have spoofing disabled in my webman set-up because that's how it came. Should I try enabling it and spoof to the newest firmware?

I can't seem to find too many people with this same issue so I'm hoping I didn't just get a bad jailbroken device…What else can I try? Please help!!
 
for ps3 and vita you need to generate device password

and this is s0ny, so sometimes first 2-3 generated passwords will always return that pass or login is invalid, for me worked after 3 attempts and enabled 2FA is mandatory, not optional like in infos

To be honest the np_oauth.sprx is not needed, i can sign into PSN even without it, but to avoid ban i replaced mine since it got changed in 4.89+ and the np_eula_plugin.sprx is mandatory otherwise you can't access the PS Store.
 
Also you can patch the vsh.self to your own server or just use webMAN mod with the ps3-updatelist.txt to allow you to sign in on older firmwares, i'm now on using 4.82 and signed into psn

And you use the password generated by PSN's 2FA, right?. Do you have to pass a token or is it just plain user-password auth?.

Yeap, i using the generated password, it seems like everything is server side not really on the console, additionally i also backported the rco to display the qr code and the notice about the password to older firmwares
