PS3HEN Irisman and Multiman problem on HEN Enabled Superslim PS3 HFW 4.82

First of all let me give a massive thank you to all developers who made HEN possible for us Superslim PS3 users.

I think my question is in noob zone, but i have no one to ask for help about problem i have with my PS3 Superslim.
Anyway long story short, i have a Superslim PS3 HFW 4.84 + HAN + HEN V2 all installed, i can install Irisman and Multiman, the new Irisman update claims it supports ISO files, i have disc based game i own, i made an ISO file from it, when i put that ISO on flash drive NTFS in PS3ISO folder, both the Irisman and Multiman see it but when i try to start it, my PS3 instantly shuts down. Then i copy that same ISO to internal drive on PS3 (PS3ISOfolder) again both file managers see it and when i try to run it PS3 instantly shuts down.

Does anyone have a clue what am i doing wrong? Everything went ok with installing HFW and HAN & HEN, no problems at all, the only problem i have is with support for ISO, i can even see/read NTFS partitions without any problem. How to make ISO work?

P.s. I have read here on forum that people use ISO images on their HFW, no one explains how. (Not CFW since PS3 Superslim is not CFW compatible).

i have only ran iso with webman on hen. i understand irisman u must change the mode from multiman to cobra. try that.

if u are using webman at all make sure to update to 1.47.20
 
Quick update.

I have installed webman it seams to unlock or do some stuff to HFW becoase now i have a semi success on the matter.

With webman installed with ISO on external drive (PS3ISO folder)

Multiman says it can not mount ISO on NTFS drive
Irisman just restarts XMB and nothing else
Webman freezes the console when i try to mount ISO.

With webman installed with ISO on intrnal HDD (PS3ISO folder)

Multiman mounts ISO and plays it - SUCCESS - but when i exit the game, XMB loads witout any icons just background and power button is not responding i have to unplug PS3 from power socket to restart it. (It does not freeze the system the waves backgroud is animated and doing it's thing)
Irisman again just restarts the XMB and nothing else.
Webman freezes the system when mounting ISO.

So far succes is Multiman+ISO on internal drive plays the backup but unable to fully exit the game, or something is preventing icons from showing up on XMB.

Any ideas how to fix XMB???

Yes Hen V2.0, Webman 1.47.20

Also when i try to run Webman mod app console freezes, i forgot to mention that. When i uninstalled Multiman and Iris man i can only access webman games menu (with setup, ps3, ps2... folders) that part now works and now i can mount ISO backup from that menu, i could not do that while Irisman and Multiman were installed.

It works just like Multiman does, it can mount/play ISO but when i exit the game, no icons on XMB. I'm starting to think that maybe something is wrong with the HFW now, i tried to many stuff Irisman, Multiman, Managunz, Webman... i will start from scratch tommorow morning, i will do complete wipe of internal HDD, do factory reset, and then HFW > HAN > HEN v2 just to be sure.
 
I don't really think it's the HFW, and even when HEN v2 should have ISO Support, id still made JB Format backups, there's no real difference In loading/performance or anything like that anyways xD

I think something messed up the HFW, i have installed multiman and irisman again, now when i dont try to mount, just enter the apps and exit nothing else (not mounting anything) also when i enter the webman setup and exit the console softlocks, xmb with no icons backgroud active and power button does not work untill i plug it out from socket and back on. (When i power back on it asks for scaning and i do the scan of internal drive) When i activate HEN v2 i wait for message that says that webman is fully loaded with NTFS (takes a couple of seconds) and then i launch Multiman, Irisman, Webman but now everything works untill i quit anything as soon as i quit app/game i get softlock, active waves and no icons on XMB.

When I updated to hen 2.0 I was having xmb problems too just reinstall hfw then install han as usual and then intall hen it fixed almost all problems for me.You wont lose any databl.

Final solution

First of all let me thank you guys for your replys and advices on this matter.
This morning i did the complete wipe and install and this solved everything.

Steps are.
1. Format internal HDD
2. Install official Sony 4.84 FW
3. Install HFW twice from safe mode
4. Activate with dummy Psn account and get act.dat & idps.hex
5. Install and enable HAN
6. Install and enable HEN V2
7. Install Webman 1.47.20
7. Install homebrew like Multiman, Irisman, Managunz... etc.
8. Use it.

Things that i noticed with fresh installation everything runs way faster, even FTP transfer runs way faster. It can finaly mount ISO from external ntfs drive.
No more softlocks, no more problems. Iso loads witout any problems, and quiting the apps and games brings back XMB menu and icons. Everything works perfect.

Once again thank you all for your help and time, i couldn't do this witout you guys and your support.

I followed tutorial how to RIP PS3 discs and make isos but right now games wont load.
I have Hen 3.01or something like that with webMAN turning on itself.
Games are on external HDD ( 2 tb, NTFS, mbr) in ps3iso folder.
When I try to load a game that I made from disc there seems to be a issue.
mmCM says that disc image is not complaint PS3 ISO.
webMAN load the game but theres no disc image in the xmb, so theres no way to launch the game
Irisman has the same issue as webMAN, nothing happens.

Please help

You probably made an standard ISO of the game. That's why the icon doesn't show up on XMB.

Use IRISMAN or multiMAN to backup your disc again or to create the ISO if you have your game in a folder.
 
I used irisman to build ISO from folder and it didnt work, right now I'm using multiman to do backups but I have read that there might be some issues with using those images

Try taking a fresh rip of your game disk. To make sure your have no file corruptions.

You can use Irisman to rip an ISO direct from the Bluray disk. Multiman also has this function.

Or you could use a pc with bluray drive to take a fresh rip.
