Maybe that's fixed with the latest firmware released last week:

I have heard that there are rumble/vibration issues with both the new and the old adapter....

The only thing I hope they improve is the rumble, currently is very lackluster and doesn't have the range as when using an OEM DS2. It's either always at 100% or like when playing TimeSplitters 2, shooting a gun provides a very light rumble on OEM DS2, but using the Brook adapter it just doesn't rumble at all.
