Issues with burned PS2 discs

It's been a while since I last posted here, so I wanted to make an update, I just tested a real PS2 game and that worked just fine, and I also found out that it was the game I was burning. I tried another game and it worked perfectly! However this might be because the game was only 980 MB (however it's still on DVD) while the other game was 4GB. I tested another game that is 4GB, and it did have slower loading times, not sure if there was any other issues with that one, there was no FMVs too so I couldn't tell if there were big issues. If I try another game that's 4GB in size and it gives off the same issues, what would the problem be? Is it the disc drive I'm burning with? (Using a desktop one but I do have an external one which might burn better) or is the PS3 struggling to read larger games?

Not sure if this would be viable, and I know it's not the same thing as a backup manager is required, But If it's just for use on PS3, It might work out better to just burn the ISO to the disc in a folder, like burn a PS1 cue and bin inside a dev_bdvd/PSXISO/ folder. Then the image can be read like normal and only mounted to app_home maybe?

This would allow multiple bins and cues to be burned onto 1 disc too.

I'm not sure if this would work for PS2 games or not. Also not sure if disc images must be mounted to dev_bdvd as well as app_home.

Burned ps2 disc support on Cobra CFW's buggy. Even with working discs, so I wouldn't hold my breath on it.

Crap, so I wasted all these discs for nothing. Oh well maybe it will get fixed someday, is there any alternative programs on PS3 which run burned discs?

What do you mean by this? I don't really understand

I was not really replying to you specifically. it will not help with your issue.

Another update:
So strangely I decided to burn another game that was large, and it worked perfectly! So it seems that it was the game I was burning! This shows that like what Joonie said, burned disc support for PS2 games is buggy, so maybe cobra didn't like the file system of my first game. It could also be compatibility and that there should be a compatibility list for burned games on cobra. Yeah there has not been too much information on this issue, so it was great to bring it up, hopefully these issues can be fixed in future CFW updates.

I
burned a disc for Ps2 at 3x speed (Princo, laptop) and had some problems and I burned again at 8x speed (Maxwell, computer and professional burner) and had the same problem
What is the fault since the game (iso) in the emulator works perfectly
Note: My PS2 has no problem with the original discs and some burned ones, I burn the discs with Img burn

Only early phat models CECHA, CECHB, CECHC, CECHE have full PS2 emulation with disc support.

All other PS3 only support ISO / ENC stored in the internal HDD or PS2 Classics packages.

It should also be noted that there's no difference between burned and pressed discs in that regard (at least with CFW) - BC models will play both and non-BC will play neither.
