Hello, i'm on CFW Cobra, i have some problems with Irisman.
Just installed. It won't recognize my PS2 disc.
I want to rip them directly on the hard drive with it, but i can't. Also, it shows empty box on videos tab (see images below)

For the PS2 disc, try changing from "Cobra / Disc-less payload" to "With BDVD Controller" in Tools menu when you press START.

About the empty boxes, try re-scanning the games.

Thank you for the support Aldo. Already done that, it not solve the issue. PS3 games shows up fine, no PS2 (disc)

I also have another problem. I've downloaded the cover packs for games, both retro and the other. Covers works fine for Ps3 games, but not for ps1 games and ps2 games. They look like a generic disc.

It looks like IRISMAN doesn't detect the PS2 discs.
I haven't worked on that project in a while, so I don't remember all the features that it supports can or not.
They are a lot. I checked multiMAN and it allows to build an ISO from the disc.

Start multiMAN (actually mmCM), insert the PS2 disc, refresh the game list if the disc doesn't appear, press TRIANGLE with the PS2 game disc selected and select Create ISO.

The title id should be included in the file name of the PSX and PS2 ISO to show the covers.

I don't recall the exact format, I think it is something like: Name [SLES-12345].iso

I'll stick with Multiman for now, for PS2 games.
As for the cover packs: it doesn't works very well. Some games i changed the name with sles-aaa, and it worked. But for many other not. (Ps2 Bloodrayne PAL for example). For PS1 games, i have isos, bin+cue, also img. All the files should be renamed like that? Also, i store them in separate folders named like each games, all inside PSXISO. They all need to be in there without the folder for each game?

FYI The cover packs install in multiMAN covers directory. So they should be fine for multiMAN and other backup managers like webMAN MOD or IRISMAN.

Some backup manager may not recognize PSX in img/ccd. By default they should be cue/bin.
They could work too with .iso only, but the audio will be missing in most of the games.

The games can be sub-folders. The name doesn't matter anymore. Early versions of webMAN required to have the same name for the folder and filename.

I don't remember if multiMAN supports the games in sub-folders. It may expect all the files in PSXISO.
IRISMAN supports sub-folders for sure.

Hi, aldostools. I am on HEN and trying to load PS1 backups from FAT32 external HDD. I know i could just format to NTFS and Irisman would use Cobra payload to load PS1 backups. But I wanted to use same HDD for PS2 and Wii so i used FAT32.

But I read that select+X is required for HEN to load PS1 but it doesn't seem to work. Is there a fix for that or is it possible for setting to be able to use cobra payload for fat32 exHDD?

How can i move them? They are installed by default on > /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/covers…
Also, it is normal that preview doesn't shows up if access this directory with the Cobra file manager? It seems they they constantly charging. I can see the covers just fine with Irisman file manager. If not, something may ended bad with the installation. It also installed something in PS3 Data Folder on the game Tab of the XMB.
Anyway it's working now for PS3 games and some PS2, but no PS1, at least in WebmanMod. Not in Irisman. I'm thinking btw how can the system know the title of the game and matching the images just by the name of the file? They have some metadata maybe?

Ok, they work now. But: i have to add the ID in the game name for them to actually show up in Webman. For PS1, i need to use the same in name in the files and in the subfolders. Maybe i was using the italian ID, so covers are not available.
Still don't show up in Irisman. They are generic dvd with ISO written on them

I haven't worked with IRISMAN in months.
If I recall correctly that issue was fixed. But I'm not sure.

You can use webMAN or multiMAN if that feature fails.
