Keyboard and mouse on PS3

Hi!
Inspired from the "get game audio from bluetooth headset" thread, I surfed the web for some kind of homebrew app that allows my PS3 to accept my keyboard and mouse as a controller for my games, for a full gaming package :pineapple:

So far, i found PS3XPAD, wich works with other's controller brands, but not with a traditional keyboard.

I also found the GIMX method, but is out of my reach because i have too few usb ports :culpability:

Thanks, from a novice in the PS3 modding scene.

That's pretty good!

But it exist some kind of homebrew app that can do the same?
With only software i dont know, i just posted the links because by doing it with hardware is going to work better

The hack with the teensy is some years old though, not sure what happened with it, but i guess nowadays there must be some hardware manufacturer selling that kind of adpater, try to search in aliexpress and dealextreme maybe you are going to find it for 5$

IIRC Mouse/Keyboard connected to USB work fine on XMB. Not sure if any game accept them.

You can control games and XMB using keyboard with webMAN MOD + webPAD
http://pad.aldostools.org/pad.html

It can control basic operations like menus, PS button, movement.
Do not expect to use it for games that require a rapid response or that use complex combos.
