PS3 Low volume with original PS3 gameboot

Hi, I've noticed that the PS3 gameboot is very quiet compared to everything else and I'm not sure what's causing it. I've tried using Ultimate Toolbox, custom firmware tools and even copying the offical gameboot to my dev/blind folder, but nothing has changed.

Is there a way to increase the volume of the gameboot on PS3?

Gameboot audio is in two ac3 files for stereo and multichannel audio in dev_blind/vsh/resource . Xvid4psp can record and open these, because I think the PSP also uses this format for certain stuff. I'm afraid I don't remember the save settings though. It's been too long. You'll have to Google it probably or wait for someone else to respond.

Thanks for the help man, it worked perfectly :)

You can even create your own sounds, but you might encounter weird audio cues if the sound is too long. The same is true of coldboot audio. Also, be cautious of file size. I've had files truncated, because they were too large (not necessarily sound files), but the sound files are somewhat large.
