Memory card "not inserted"

So basically, I was going to play a Ps2 game. Saving was working fine until now, when I start a Ps2 game, it says "Memory card not inserted" and I can still play the game, but I can't save. I've tried to find ways to fix it, but most of them are very complicated and I can't really understand them because I'm new to hacking my console. Can someone give me an easy step by step guide on how to fix this?

You have to setup a memory card for your ps2 games and for your ps1 games
They are different files also. This can be done even from official firmware, game column.
It has you create a file that is your "memory card" for the respective system, and this will fix your issue.

You cannot fix something which isn't broken.

Depend of emulator type usage, You must create decrypted vmc in XMB menu and assign to one of two slots, or You must create encrypted one for specific game or PS2 Placeholder and put it into home dir.

I made one in the XMB, in Memory Card Utility. I tried my game but it still said that it didn't have a memory card inserted.
