PS2 Modchip on japanese launch model (SCPH-18000)

Hello,

I recently bought an SCPH-18000 fat PS2 and I would like to install an original Matrix Infinity on it.

I haven't received it yet but i guess it's a GH-003, GH-008 are pretty rare from what i've read.

So i've searched long and large for diagrams for the v0's but i can't find anything even though Matrix states it's compatible with every version / motherboard revision.

Does anyone have experience chipping a japanese launch PS2 ? (SCPH-10000/15000/18000)

Why would you want solder modchip? Are you wants playing disc games? Because if not, then there is zero sense in choosing modchip road.
