PS3 Multi-Track PS1 Games on PS3

Also increased the max number of CD tracks allowed from 32 to 64.

Thanks, It is good to know that, because e.g. Tomb Raider 2 has got 61 tracks:

I tested SLUS00955 and it's playing with sound tracks with build 1.47.25.4

If your CD image was built with CloneCD, then the issue was that there was not support for CloneCD Control file (CCD).
In the build 1.47.25.4 I have added support for CCD format to the cue file parser.

Also increased the max number of CD tracks allowed from 32 to 64.

The CD image of SLUS00955 that I tested was IMG+SUB+CCD, not a CUE/BIN image. Tested on Rebug 4.84.2 REX (CEX) Cobra 8.1

Awesome and thank you, will try that out asap. The original disc was ripped with DICUI, then those multi .BIN/.CUE files were converted with ImgBurn in to a single .BIN/.CUE. I wasn't aware that subchannel data was supported on the ps3 when an image is mounted, which is great to know because now i can try out some LibCrypt protected games without patching them.
BTW i think the game with the most audio tracks is Firestorm thunderhawk 2, 77 audio tracks in total. http://redump.org/disc/15100/

I have to check with SLUS00955... I couldn't reproduce your issue with Vigilante or Pepsi Man.
The music in both games was playing like when I mounted the games with multiMAN. The 17 tracks of Vigilante played fine too.
I tested with webMAN 1.47.25.3 on Rebug 4.84.2 REX (CEX)

Ok i will dump it again, can u suggest program which u use to dump iso which produce proper cue file ?

Thank you for you feedback... I have increased the max number of audio tracks to 80, so Firestorm should be supported now too.
You can re-download the pkg of 1.47.25.4 if you already downloaded it earlier.

The subchannel data is not processed by Cobra payload... it's simply ignored ;) The .SUB file is ignored by webMAN MOD.
Only the .IMG (raw data) and the .CCD are used. They are equivalent to .BIN and .CUE files respectively.

As you can see in the following line only the raw data (2048 bytes) is processed by Cobra :)
Only the CD sector size is needed to know how many bytes must be ignored.

LOL the last time I dumped PSXISO properly was in 1999 using CDRWin... I think that software is obsolete...
ImgBurn is what I normally use for Xbox 360 and PS2... I haven't used it for PSX, but it should work too.

Still no bueno getting all the tracks working with this game:crushed:, i think i'm messing things up during the multi to single bin conversion if it all works correctly on your system. It cant be the initial dump since those values match the ones on redump.org for this game. I removed all the previous conversion and started again:

For reproduction purpose some info and description of the things i tried:

There is no music in the main menu, also not when the game is paused during a race. What I hear is the first 0.5 seconds from each track before it skips to the next track. During gameplay only 1 track plays (track 10, see below), no matter what track in the game is chosen:

gameplay footage, here you hear the 0.5 sec of each track during main menu and pause menu. Also the track that does finally play is track 10.

ImgBurn works fine, it's what I've used to rip my PS1 discs to BIN/CUE format and it's been flawless. :)

Does ImgBurn support not correcting subchannel data and EDC? Because those are used as security layer in some PAL games. if they will be correct, then security check will not pass (in case of subchannell data, that's why we have *.sub/*.sbi/*.lsd in case emulator will not patch this checks on the fly). For sure the best apps for PSX dumps are Goldenhawk's CDRwin, CloneCD and Alcohol 120%, there is also some app from ReDump guys but I never use it.

I don't get music either in the main menu or when I select the tracks. I get music during gameplay and it is different if I change it in the main menu. I really can't do more than what I did... it must be an issue of the emulator or something else that I can't fix.

You've done more than needed man, once again thanks for your time! I guess some games just dont function correctly on the ps3 when used in this format, sled storm being one of them.

I test game SLUS00868 and it's work Pefect with audio track Thanks. but there is an small issues still there in that game there is an Audio player in options -> Audio -> when u select track only show 2 Track and to play the third track u must star over from track 1 again to show track 4 and so on for 17 track. But in multiman not that happen u can move from track 1 to 17. could u review it again if u have time?

The game arrived yesterday and i've tested it. Long story short audio plays but convert to PKG format it you want 100% compatibility. The track switching issue that you described is there with all backup managers (yes even multiman if you play long enough, the issue will appear) when image format is used for this game. Track switch in menu works fine, in-game it'll go crazy if you switch tracks after x amount of times but till then also normal.

Alguém me ajuda com o bin vigilante 82 multitracks?

Same advice as here above, convert to PKG and make sure you enable/inject cdda in EBOOT.

Could you perhaps share the method which you used to convert to pkg and enable/inject cdda step by step?

I've tested SLUS00868 and found there was a bug in the cue parser. Now it has background music.

You can test again with the build 1.47.25.3... just need to re-download the plugin from github, brewology or update online.

the problem in the same game still in IRISMAN last update, webman work fine
