PS3 Multiman black screen PS3 FAT

Hi guys.

I have just installed HFW 4.91.1 on PS3 FAT and HEN 3.3.0 throught ps3xploit.me , then i installed multiman, webman and irisman.

I have a problem with Multiman; most of the time, it doesn't start, and a black screen appears. If I force a reinstall, it starts the first time, but then not anymore... If I restart the console several times, it might start again. Why does this happen? Is Multiman indispensable?

First of all, HEN on a fat PS3 is a waste, you should go the CFW route, which would give you some useful extra perks, such as the ability to QA flag and downgrade should you ever need to, as well as dump the ERK, which would allow you to read the HDD on a PC even if your console dies at some point.

Regarding your question, multiMAN is pretty old and unmaintained at this point. While I can't really say why it's giving you trouble (it should work), webMAN MOD is probably the best way to play backups these days. The only major thing that multiMAN does that webMAN MOD can't is rip physical discs to the HDD, but that's something that IRISMAN does as well, so really you can do without multiMAN if it doesn't work.
