haha i only paid £3 for it so i'm good :D
i did keep the parts though.

how do i set it up so i can test games in OPL (the beta version from previous page)
do i still format the micro sd card as fat32 and if so then where do i put the iso's?

Does anyone know if these are the minimum components needed to work, or do I need to install a capacitor?
Tested on a 50001 and 77001 but was unsuccessful.

That's all: slot and resistor. As you have seen in 2.4.3:
"The minimum required components are R10 (47 Ω) and CN20 respectively CN30."

That's wring, it must be a resistor with about 50 Ohm. The capacitor on the MX4SIO board is only for power supply improvement.

That's the reason why I am wondering why there are still many old pics and links in the first post, but I can't find a link to the official hardware page: https://www.trisaster.de/page/index.php?topic=575
Nearly every information is included in the MX4SIO package, even the dimensions of the slot. Even more software is linked there than in the first post here.
My proposal: move all the old stuff in a "historical tab" and add an link to the hardware page.
 
A sale of the adapter is being worked on. The revenue will then also partially flow to the software developers.

I don't have skills or possibility to forge myself such controller. It is possible to buy it somehow? Or maybe there is news about selling preparing by those Trisaster guys?

I can't print the cases on the printer for the prototypes. Most supplier for 3D printed parts want 20 EUR or more for one case, even for a large quantity. That's more than the targeted selling price! I found a cheaper one and ordered some 3D printed cases, but they doesn't fit. I stopped here, because I have a lot to do privetly until August. And there are still legal things to do.
 
Hi, I would be grateful if someone could help me. I have made my ps2 sd memory card following the picture and schematics of this thread. I think the connections are corrects and I used a 47 ohms resistor. When I connect the memory card in my Fat PS2, it appears in PS2 browser, but when I insert microSD in the adapter, the memoryCard icon disappears, is it normal? Also, I have tried Open Loader bdm with Crazy Taxi game in CD folder of the microSD, but USB list of OPL is empty. Thank you.

If you are NOT in a homebrew application, the Memory Card bus crashs after inserting an SD card. I don't know if that affects the other port too, but maybe. Start OPL and then remove the card, then reinsert the SD card.

Thank you for your response. I have a memory card with free mcboot and Open Loader in mc0 and the SD MC in mc1. Is it correct? Is neccesary any file or elf in SD MC? I will keep trying.
 
Hi guys! I did a small hardware update, and with that I was able to successfully run some games that crashed on loading.

I've tested 3 so far, Burnout revenge, burnout takedown and NFS undergrownd 2. (EDIT: NFS Most the Wanted working ;-))

The upgrade consists of 4 10k pullup resistors connected at 3.3v to the DATA, CMD, CLOCK and ATT pins.

I used 3 different Micro SD and they all worked very well.

just create a VMC in slot 2

what i think is happening, when loading the game it checks MC1 and MC2, when it checks MC2 I believe it interrupts the Micro SD bus and freezes the game, just speculation.

I tried this in other games but it didn't work.:sfun bangdesk:
