PS3 My PS3 is bricked (pls help)

Hey guys,
I'm new on this site and I require your help please.
I literally just turned on my already HEN hacked PS3 fat (I think it was on 4.89) and was playing a regular cd based game, when suddenly, while letting the game idle, my entire console just shutdown completely. And it was the red ring of death I think it's called, meaning when restarting the console, it boots up, the led turns orange and then a continuing red flash. Having tried to restart the console a few times without success, I am now sure it's bricked. I now need your expertise, because I don't know what to do and I don't want to lose all my files or even worse, being forced to buy a new console…..

So any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thx

On first: making multiple threads in various of places is pointless and lowering Your chances of any response...

High probably You lost everything due to dead meat in which Yours PS3 turned on. Sorry. If You would have CFW (not all models can have) and read EID Root Key while You still could, retrieving all data from this HDD on PC would be possible. But without it, You need repair console first.

(Update)

Thx for your advice and insights as to what to do in order to hopefully save the console, however I've decided that I'm neither skillful enough to solder things onto the motherboard, nor am I really sure I want to mess with all of that. The console appears to have the Ylod, so I'm sorry I gave misinformation and it is a European fat model with the CECHC04 serial code. I think that I'll just try to find a used new ps3 that I can eventually put HEN on once more. As for the save files, well due to me not really being lucky with my ps3 in the first place, because my initialization process took forever to complete for example and one day I had to completely redo the entire installation forcing me to delete all my old save files, I guess it was inevitable that the console would one day just give up on me, so the new files aren't that big of a deal since it's just for three games. Bummer, since it's my first console I ever possessed but that's just how it goes sometimes I guess.

Thx again

That's why cloud saving is a godsend. Unfortunately, you need psn plus for that though, and the PS3 will only upload saves during a specified two hour timeframe. Same with trophies, if you care about those.
