Hello Everybody.

I really need help from ANY single person wich reads this. My PS3 Super Slim 4.88 HFW, HEN 3.0.3 wont show any Display even though the TV recognizes the output and tells me wich resolution it is. The Safe mode works but when i select Restore Database/PS3 or File system it comes back with the black screen. And when selecting System Update, the system freezes. I well know who caused this problem. NyExploit made a tool wich lets you customize the look of the xmb and etc. (PS3 Hen pro) It was all good until i changed the coldboot. I selected a coldboot and then the screen turned black! I had to turn it off with the AC cord because it wont turn off normally. Then the black screen comes when turning it on. I found someone wich had the same problem and troublemaker too and the ppl said it was a Softbrick. But you know typical scenario no solution, guy with the problem asks something, no reply for 2 years... i hope this wont be the case with me. ASK ME EVERY QUESTION, THE MORE QUESTIONS THE BETTER WE CAN FIND A SOLUTION. And help other poor souls wich have the same problems :D

Hello. Do you want to try and install OFW 4.88 over HFW?. Just to restore everything and see if the custom coldboot stuff is what's making trouble.

Yes! I want this coldboot get rid off! But when i select "6. System Update" the systen freezes

Install 4.88 HFW n reinstall Hen.

The same response to GuilloteTesla. I want to do that but hwen i select "6. System Update" on the Safe mode it freezes :(

You should report the issue to the tool maker & seek support with him/her if you can.

What exact model of superslim is it?
Is it using an internal hdd or just 12Gb of emmc memory?

I cant message him, do tweet or reply him bro who does that come on. And his Youtube channel well he doesnt respond pretty much nothing. Wait let me give you a link of that video

1. Note that some tools are made for CFW only, they should never be used on a HEN console. If ever the tool you used made changes to system binaries, those customised binaries will crash on execution if launched before HEN is enabled.
That can lead to a brick situation.

2. Without knowing exactly what the tool did behind the scenes, it is impossible to diagnose the issue with any degree of certainty

If the issue is related to changes you made to system files stored in the /dev_flash partition, an easy (but radical) fix is to reformat the hdd. If it cannot be done from recovery mode, you can take it out of the console & reformat it on PC.
But of course you would lose all the data on the hdd.

Sorry but I won't watch the video.

You should not run whatever file you find on the Internet you know.
It's a risky practice, fundamentally, executing custom files downloaded from the Internet on a jailbroken console is just as risky as on PC...

1. The tool is 100% made for hen. The name explains it "PS3 Hen pro" and the guy which showcased it/made it used a HEN device.

2. Well i can explain yoi how it did: 1st i changed the PS logo then a notificsion comed up and said it changed it, then te color of the waves too. But when selecting the bootloader it came up with nothing and gave that ps3 sparkle fading away animation (the sparkles that come up when lauching a game) and then it turned black. I had to remove it from the power switch because i thought ut was just a normal Jailbreak freeze like Multiman.

3. I dont know, you have to tell me if coldboot.raf is located there. If yes i will format that goddamn drive but how?

Many people are saying he did the "Trojan" but he isnt the fault with it. I saw other Forums and ppl saod that the CECH-300X and 400X are more vunrable to softbrick when doing cosmetic changes.

I the "6. System Update" wprked amd didnt freeze i could just install OFW and thats it. Well it worked when i accidentaly clicked on it. But i thought it just needed a database reset. The Screen had no "Back" option Damn you Sony so i had to hold on the I/O button until it turned off. But the 2nd time when i selected it and wanted to use that it Froze.
Should i try it again but this time remove the HDD and use the Flash memory?

[SOLVED] YES GUYS I FOUND A WAY!!
You have to select the 1a option in the safe mode settings (exclusive to Super slims wich have 12 GB flash) Once you changed the Storage you can sinoly got to "6. System Update" and update it with a HFW UPDAT file or OFW as you like. After that the PS3 will wprk again and ask you if you wsnt to use the HDD. Sadly, the PS3 will format your HDD. But i dont care because i just want my ps3 working again! I hope i helped you.
