i just patched my ps3 using nor and it worked whats next? installing a cfw? i hear rebug is good. i jailbroke once but got banned got a new cid and accidentally upgraded and now im confused xD

So, you are patched with PS3Xploit? Then just install CFW, I recommend Rebug

Update it told me to Dump my nor and when i try to initialize exploit for it, it fails.

Set the dumper as homepage, delete cookies, close browser.
Open browser, try it again.

Yes it is from PS2.
I do not remember exactly if it was dynamic or static.
However this theme should be... somewhere.

There is no way of getting a free CID, DO NOT BELIEVE ANY BULLS*IT ON YOUTUBE ABOUT GETTING FREE CID'S. Or anywhere else btw.
The reason for this is because every PS3 has a CID, which means to get a CID you have to buy a PS3, which is not free, so why would anyone buy a bunch of PS3's and then basically give away the PSN connectivity of those consoles? No one does that

What version (4.84.1, 4.82.2)?

What exactly, your console is showing?
Data is corrupted (8002F957)?
If yes, did you use flasher* & dumper*, or just dumper*?
Did you managed to Patch NOR flash memory?
On success, did you check it with py checker tool:

On success, load the **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) dumper, dump the flash memory & check it with py checker tool. Don't restart if ever the validation tool gives you errors/warnings in both ros0 & ros1 or risk a partial brick.

I tried Rebug 4.84.1Rex and D Rex as well as 4.84.2 Rex/D Rex, it is giving me that exact code and i used flasher once it said it succeeded i patched it and it said that succeeded so then i dumped it and it successfully dumped it.

A noob idk how to check md5 or anything last time i jailbroke i followed a wiki how to to the 4.82exploit flashed it patched it and i installed a 4.82 Rex and used rebug toolbox to go from cex to dex thenupdated. Can u help me figure this out please. Do u have a discord?

What error code you're getting, when you want to install CFW?
