New method to inject any game to 4.81 with IDPS

working on a method right now, ill update this post with more info in a bit stay tuned, sorry if it doesnt pan out.

i cant upload the file so ill just tell you where to get them,
google param.sfo editor to get that,
and google 4.81_retailer to get ps3xport
finally google game_convert.rar to get that,
and of course the IDPS dumper

The general methodology for making games work is quite simple ...
The game should have an official patch (and how else do we launch it from the internal disk?).
  1. The patch is unpacked, the contents of USRDIR from the patch are dropped into the game folder (with the replacement of the original files).
  2. PARAM.SFO (from the disk) is edited. Change the Category from DG to HG and App Version to the patch version.
  3. Delete the LICDIR folder if available.
  4. Rename PS3_GAME to the name of the PARAM.SFO game (for example: PS3_GAME in BLES00222. If the game sets the data, add GAME at the end, for example: BLES00222GAME)
  5. inject into backup.
  6. some games may require a disc (insert any) or some other manipulations (see "more" in the examples - there are not all games, but the principle should be clear)
might be able to modify this and add the license files anyway?

Ok there might be a solution do the same process but change the name of the folders after converting into any ps3 bluray disc that you have then inject and before starting game insert the blueray disk then start

at the moment i only have the slim without a disk drive and a phat with a disk drive but its disassembled and i can run disks but i need to find my little magnet thing that keeps the disk in, lol. im testing a different version of soul calibur 5 to see if it works ill probably be testing this stuff all day so dont worry

EDIT: this thing, https://puu.sh/ymwuz/a7b0d68eb7.png, is there anything i can use as a replacement for that?

Idk did you lose the original piece?
