PS3 NEW Plugin by Mysis (POC Plugin v 0.2) - XMB / BD / In-Game SceenShot , Live Game Recording, BGM

Developer Mysis, who has developed other useful tools for the scene like NORinspector for example, has released a very impressive Proof of Concept Plugin for the ps3 a few hours ago. In this plugin, some very nice features have been added including,XMB Screenshot, In-game Screenshots, BD Screenshots, In-game Background Music, Dumping game Klicense, and a first time ever,(to my knowledge) Live Game Recording! This plugin looks to be on track with alot of stuff the scene has wanted for a long time now, and i am very excited to see future revisions as it can only get even better. Read more about it below:

Select: Game Screenshot (XMB ingame)
L1 : Display plugin menu (all XMB Modes)
L2 : Make Screenshot (Main XMB + Blu-ray (Kudos 3141card!))
L3 : Open WebBrowser with PS3WiKi (Main XMB)
R1 : Dump game KLicensee (XMB ingame)
R2 : Enable/Disable Background Music (XMB ingame)
R3 : Start/Stop Gameplay recording (XMB ingame, almost like on ps4!)

Say what? This is truly amazing, can't wait to see this evolve and mature. If this is added to webMAN mod gonna either run out of button combos or some really intricate button presses will be needed. Mysis you truly never cease to amaze me!! Merry Xmas guys!!

this POC is the emerged part of the iceberg.
Mysis have done an amazing work to feed the wiki, especialy this page : VSH - PS3 Developer wiki.

So, big thanks to Mysis which is still unknown (I mean not enough, perhaps on purpose?) although he is doing something huge.

Play inFamous Second Son and its been back in the box since. But then again my PS3 did the same when it first came out as Sony is great about continued supported. So many great games to play on the PS2 let one my PS3!!

You have to either have a Cobra firmware or use PRXLoader. Then place the sprx file where you want then edit your boot_plugins.txt to point where you put it. It will then load the plugin. I use Rebug Cobra REX 4.65 and place it in hdd0:/plugins folder and works great. If this is a beta I can wait to see the final product.

Do u know where is the boot_plugins located at on Cobra Rex 4,65 ive heard is in dev falsh/blind but i dont see it

I would like a copy of that i only have a PS3 with 4.50 right now and i never used PRXLoader before, your how to is simple and straight forword.

 

Best way is a Cobra form of firmware. I suggest either 4.66 Darknet or Rebug 4.65. Rebug the boot_plugins.txt isn't needed for webMAN. It is preinstalled.

Waiting for Rebugs FW, im using CCAPIv2.50 and its working, i have another system with rebug 4.46 cobra but i left it in california.

 

i really want to test this out, can some tell me if there is prx loader for 466 darknet(not cobra)? i dont want webman plugin, only this one, do i have any risk of briking console?

Alright But When I Open The RAR File I Have The SPRX File In PS3 DEBUG Folder And There Is Another File And Another Folder Out Side So What I Have To Do Right Now????
