Surely there are games you can play offline? Or something else while you wait? The 4.87 update has only just dropped, HFW is already released within hours, and HEN will be available when it is ready. I never understand why people immediately update to the latest OFW, lose the exploit, and then complain about not having the exploit anymore.

It is always best to WAIT when a new update is released; there is NOTHING to gain in updating straight away before anything is updated and ready for the new firmware version. I'm on 4.86 on CFW and have no intentions of updating any time soon - it is senseless to do so and it happens time and time again every new firmware release. Much better to hold off and see what develops over time, rather than rushing into updates right away.

correct but you are on cfw you can play online on lower firmwares hen ofw sadly can't do that i've thought about switching to hfw but the friends i have that are on hfw say it's not worth it

It's immaterial as I don't play online, but if I did I would still hold off updating. If I was on HEN, I would hold off updating.

Also, as I said to you earlier in the thread: HEN is used on HFW, not OFW. You cannot install HEN on OFW - you need HFW. I don't know what your friends mean exactly, as if they have HEN they are also on HFW. Be wary of disinformation.
 
Hello everyone, I hope to see an update as soon as possible, as my PS3 is completely disconnected from the PSN. Thanks to the developer team for the speed of response against the update!
 
It was mentioned that the Bluray Player received an update. Does anybody know what they updated? just
curious :)

Lol I told you they made the security update. And just an FYI spoofing will get you banned with a very high chance. Untested

EDIT:
FYI this bug is VERY likely available to the person who has kernel exploit of latest firmware. Sony should fix that. Ps vita shall receive update too
