PS3HEN New PS3 Firmware update 4.87

Can I copy PS3HEN from flash drive to HDD? (i installed ps3hen on flash 12gb, and I wanna buy new HDD to console)

BTW. I installed HEN 3.0.2 with HFW 4.87.1 on OFW 4.87, tested Watch Dogs and works fine :smile:

To prevent bans please resign np_oauth.sprx it sends your user agent with npcsla 4.86. You will get banned. Best solution is to update to 4.87 or if you want to stay at 4.86 please replace that file. Otherwise ban wave will come. NDA can't be lifted but I'm telling you this much please replace that file and as well as vsh.self patch that with %02d.%02d to 04.87

one more thing a consoleid changing MIGHT get you a ban. Due to NPpp blob. It's best to change eid0 cid. Sony won't check ecdsa it's too expensive

as soon as I get permission I will lift all the info

I request Sony to please increase your bounty. I'm here to help you guys more and more and what's going on behind the scenes but your bounty is not worth it. I'm doing to keep community clean because I don't care too much about money now

is this also an issue with pre-4.87 cfws (such as last rebug rex)?

do you recommend everyone change email/password no matter what fw/hack they are using?

Yes it's an issue. A proper spoof should now include vsh %02d.%02d changed with version number in vsh.elf and np_oauth because your NpCsla user agent goes something like npcsla/4.86. Considering 4.87 fixed some security issues I would advise SUCH spoof. Not only index dat version.txt and vsh. replace np_oauth.sprx pls resign it

The thing is I want Sony to be aware people can make money. Not everyone like me will reveal exploits. They will use it for bad stuff. And the greed will continue. Why not increase prize bounds on hackerone? And there are more exploits which they are unaware of

I'm not against you making money with your knowledge... it's your right and you deserve it.

I'm only suggesting you that stop repeating that you're "millionaire". (while the rest of us are not).. You should keep that part for yourself.
These comments just make you look arrogant and childish... If you're so rich and don't need money, your arguments have less sense saying that.

I've already updated, and I have installed Hen and everything seems to be going well, I have logged in and everything is fine too. Thanks for answer me, anyway :D
 
I need help installing the 4.87 update on my PS3 everytime I get to the USB part nothing pops up on the usb and when I do recovery mode it's still nothing I've tried everything and it seems like I just can't find the update on the PS3 after I do all the steps
 
Hi

I bought a PS3 for the 1st time. It was already at 4.87. Today I install HEN and it installed no issues. I also install the emulator for Sega, Nes and Snes but when I launch those apps i get "An error occurred during the start operation (800100007). What would cause this issue? Or is there a guide for this?

I can get retroarch to open but not the nes, snes, sega or atari to work

This is all just my opinion, I don't have any proof or argument, it's just my feeling :

They don't care about ppl money, they care about their money. Remember the leak of 70M account ? Lot of these account are still working, I pretty sure you know that already ;). They just had to force the users to change their password but they didn't, why ? because they don't care.
You want a big amount price on hackerone ? Find a exploit which will affect their money directly.
