Non-working Games list (Hen v2.1.1)

This is a list of games that I've tested and fails to boot/work using Hen. These games were tested using webman/multiman/managuns.

  • BLES01465-Resident Evil 6: as pointed out here, after setting the brightness it start the loading and then I get a black screen an nothing more.
  • BLES00029/BLUS30020/BLJM60016-Virtua Fighter 5: black screen after boot.
  • BLES00187-Turok: returns to XMB after bootFIXED: convert the game to ISO and it will play fine!
  • BLES00258-GTA IV: stuck at installation screen.FIXED: covert the game to ISO and it will play fine!
  • Arcania The Complete Tale: black screen after boot (reported by @Major_Pothead92)
  • Nier: black screen after boot (reported by @Major_Pothead92)
  • BLUS31425-Akibas Trip Undead & Undressed: black screen after boot (reported by @iZesshi)
  • NPEB02365-Attack on Titan: black screen after bootFIXED: resigning the EBOOT with 3.55 keys (reported and fixed by @atreyu187)
  • BLES01076-Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition: freeze on the title screenFIXED: covert the game to ISO and it will play fine!(reported by @Sakurakun5 )

If you have any info on how to fix these games: please share!

if you are reporting broken/non-working games, please make sure that:
  1. You have a clean dump from original game disk
  2. You specify the game region id
  3. Post an accurate description of the problem/failure

@Louay if you are willing to test these games, please share your results

I've had 2 games blackscreen so far.

- Arcania The Complete Tale
- NieR

They were both in folder format though, haven't tried with ps3iso tools yet. I've read the compatibility with makeps3iso is something like 100%. So that would essentially mean any ps3 game in folder format can be converted to an ISO and be launched with the homebrew of your choice (multiman/mmcm) right? For example, a JB folder format game that results in a blackscreen when being launched will work if converted to an ISO with makeps3iso?
 
Thank you for reporting these 2 games. I'm going to add them to the 1st post.
You can convert JB folder games to ISO using multiman (press triangle on the game and select "create iso").
Please report back if you get these games to work by converting them to iso ;)
 
I've had one game lose volume completely.
Sniper Elite V2 .pkg format (I can't remember the region code but I can get it soon)

EDIT: The Region code for it is NPEB01009

Attack on Titan doesn't work unless you resign the eboot.bin to 3.55, just had that issue but it's fixed thanks to @Joonie which sucks as I own the game. This works for the DLC as well.
 
[BLES01076]-Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition u need convert to iso if u dont it will freeze on title screen.

It's working fine with JB too (my own backup). We don't talk about piracy here but there was a copy "somewhere" that included
OpenSplit v1.2 files so check your folders for *.666xx because that could be the issue. Otherwise my own backup (both ISO and JB) was working fine so there is a possibility of broken/bad backup too.

Okay, so @Major_Pothead92 please check if that's the case, so I can update the infos about Nier.

@Kier_1234657 are you sure that this PKG isn't corrupted?

there are numerous bad rips on the net,please if it isn't ripped properly from known working disc don't post it here.

Cool beans I'm gonna test out NieR again tonight or tomorrow with multiman after using makeps3iso / ps3 iso tools.

Will do. Gonna try Arcania again too, it's just that one had a stupid amount of mp3 files and it took a really long time to FTP, hoping it doesn't run into issues converting to ISO lol. I pulled up a page somewhere on google that confirmed NieR as a blackscreen game if ran in JB format. But I also saw someone say they solved it using bdmirror / internal hard drive. I myself tested that in mmcm and it did not work.
