PS2 NTFS as Default File system in OPL. Who can make it happen?

What is BDM? ;) Some plugin (external module) loading mechanism? Like i.e user would be able to load ilinkman.irx and play games from FireWire?

That would be awesome, since I also have a SATA adapter, but it's not really worth it because of the limitation (and PS2USB2.0 hasn't been updated in ages)

Quick search:
The SIO2SD is an adapter which allows you to use SD cards in the memory card slot.

So it looks like SD2SIO...

...but to be honest also after quick search I did not find any info
what is the difference between MX4SIO vs. SD2SIO at the main topic about it:
https://www.psx-place.com/threads/m...d-sd-driver-for-the-ps2-sio2-interface.29210/.

Additionally I have found a very old topic about SD Card on SIO2 driver:

SIO2SD (old project name) and MX4SIO are the same thing!
SIO2SD was also used on Atari for an SD-Converter, hence the name-change.

Actually there is!

We have BDM in the official OPL Beta-builds now, so new devices and filesystems can/could be added easier and better, IMO.

If someone has a bit of time to help out, he/she is certainly welcome.

Settings up the SDK is "childsplay" in most cases nowadays. Copy the commands and execute them, until everything is done.

We are a very small group of people which really still contribute to the PS2, but the stuff which is continually done by a few people is quite a lot and impressive stuff!

The few people which are still active, are mostly already working on other things.
We could need more developers, or those who want to become one.

The learning curve on a PS2 is quite high IMO. From very simple to very complex stuff and things.

Oh, so...exFAT is possible (or already implemented?!)

I'm really not good at programming...otherwise I would help, but my brain is wired differently lol

Why isn't that bigger news? Some Youtuber should talk about it. I mean that changes everything when OPL is able to get exFAT to work

BDM implementation is in OPL beta of next version, not in stable v1.0.0. So it is not really official yet. Like support for i.Link (FireWire/S400) and MX4SIO.

And second, there is not many programmers out there and even less peoples who cares PS2. ;) I'm not sure if "some youtubers talk" would change that (and also don't understand why peoples seeking knowledge on youtube, discord, facebook and all this modern shit communication channels etc. in the first place ;p).

I also waiting for exFAT.

Well, YouTube is a gigantic advertising platform, and when there is more advertisement, you get more people on the OPL train and therefor more programmers to help out. YouTube might be a trash can for the most part, but there are actually many good infos (and stuff normally unnoticed)

As long as there is no ODE for the PS2, OPL is the next best thing. And getting new features like exFAT is really big news ;)

most of ordinary people are lazi, they hate to read and try things, so that bulls*** chanels just give to him most of work done already.

There are for sure a brilliant channels (I even watch some ;p) but I'm referring to something else: those media cannot be archived by crawlers instead to i.e forums. So once it disappears, also knowledge disappears. And in most cases, they are filled by none technical peoples which spreads often wrong informations and propagating stupid habits. Oh, and in case of videos, they are often full of "jokes" and idiotic behaviours instead of informations, ads and all that shit which discouraging further watching.
