you mean the Hen pkg or html that will not work?
what if i put older hen pkg for 4.82?
UPDATE:i tried this and it work on downloading HEN.p3t but it freeze after that.

i used the Alternative installer , but it freeze on "Preparing..." i thought i can install older hen for 4.82. i avoid updating because it seems blue ray not working i don't want to be stuck in loop.

and thanks for 3.0 hen pkg. i trird this , i let it download pt3 by changing to ='PS3HEN.pt3' but the initialize button is dissabled cannot click it after it download the bin(p3t) file.

i tried Rewrite flash html but i think i forgot how to do it with 2.2 hen


i am pretty sure that older Hen when there was Han was very easy to install offline because the code written was to downlaod hen pkg from source window that has index.html

all the installers work in different ways. even the P3T file is completely different for each installer so you can not mix files. the P3T used here is like a ZIP file (so you must make a new one for each installer you want to have).

i will make you one for 4.82. just give me some time.

i forgot that 4.82 has different offsets. i think that the auto installer will not run correctly on 4.82. i am not sure if i can change them all because they may not be using the same names. i must go to bed soon. if i get time tomarrow, i will look at the offsets.

BTW that pkg i linked to has a broken enabler icon. it is looking for 4.84 so i assume it has the wrong offsets also. so if i get something working, it may only be hen 2.4.0 edit - i was wrong...same file on both 2.4 and 3.0

i was going to host an alternative installer for 4.82 on github months ago. it can fail and cause the browser icon to disappear sometimes, so it is not a good idea if you can not reinstall firmware.

i tried to make one but it did not work. it said it was installing but it never rebooted. the files i tried to write to hard drive were not there. i tried to compare the html to others but the variable names must different. (so i do not know what numbers to change.)

i tried the html in the 2.4.0 release zip and it did not initialize after the file was downloaded. (same as what happened to you.)

if you need to install HEN again, i think the best way is to use HAN to do it...
1. install HAN
2. reboot and run the "han_flash_mount_rewrite.html"
3. after the browser closes, install the HEN pkg and reboot

(BTW i said above that the 3.0.0 HEN pkg was broken. i was wrong. it has the same XML as the 2.4.0 pkg so it should have no problem enabling.)

i will try this.. once HAN was released i was able to do it offline but after a year or 2, HEN spoiled me XD
