Is there any way to create a dummy Update patch? because the update messes with the translation effectively replacing all the subs back to Japanese. or there's a patched update that fixes that?

I honestly have no clue, this is the post from the translation author, it seems like they weren't able to or didn't tried to translate the update so, was looking for a way to dummy the update so it doesn't try to install each time I play.

I see. All you need to do is change the version in the param.sfo to match the latest version. Then the update will be ignored.
