Title = Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
ID = SCUS_971.24
Media = DVD5
OPL = 0.9.3
Device = USB
Mode = 1, 3, 6
VMC = YES

Is this game ever going to get its save bug fixed? game freezes whenever I try to save, tried different versions of OPL and different mods but no luck so far.

Tried with OPL 1.1.0 I discovered new bug (not sure if reported somewhere already)
Second level in Lost Precursor City near the end of this level when standing on the platform, you have two paths to go
path on left being a tunnel where you slide down and evade object to complete level, and right path being a small
platforming section above dark eco pool with one lurker enemy. I got killed by that lurker what happened to my game is
a frame from death scene got stuck as overlay image with 50% opacity on my screen, so after I respanwed I got stuck with
seeing 50% of what's happening in game and seeing 50% that frozen frame from death scene. Also the same save bug
still exists, no matter what modes or OPL versions I try I just can't save the game.

I also have two questions not really related to Jak and Daxter. I used CODEBREAKER10.ELF in the past and cheated games
with no problem, for last 3 years I tried multiple times to launch that program and no matter what I do I always get
stuck in black screen on boot. Second question, the only way I managed to get jak and daxter TPL 100% playable was with
PS2ESDL 0.821, same problem doesn't matter what version of PS2ESDL I try to boot it always get stuck in black screen.
Does anyone maybe have atleast some theory on why do these apps all of a sudden get always stuck in black screen on launch?

Maybe the device is the problem, have you tried another USB device?

About J&D I never experienced any savegame problem (I tried it either from USB, SMB and HDD, with different OPL versions, on 39004, 75004 and 770004 Ps2 models).
It freezes at the first battery you get?

Might be the USB, it is not the same one I used years ago. I Have SCPH 50004.

Tekken Tag Tournament SLUS_200.01 when cheat widescreen is on after using IGR shortcut, screen freezes, music keeps looping. Without the use of a widescreen IGR works.

Title = Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal
ID = SCUS_973.53.00
Media = DVD5
OPL version = 1.0.0 (also tested with 0.9.3 and 0.9.2)
Device = SMB (As far as I've tested, it seems to works via usb)
Compatibility Mode(s) used = none / 1+3+6 / 2+6 / 2+3+6
VMC = no
PADEMU = no
IGR = yes
Compatible = ?

I know this game is problematic, while some report problems others say they were able to run it perfectly.
Running via SMB the game crashes on a black screen. I've tested with several different modes and with versions 0.92 and 0.93, without success. In a quick test it seems to run on usb (however I'm not sure if the game runs completely smoothly).

Try also "hide dev9" mode (I don't remember if it is MODE 8 or 9). I seems to remember some other games (with online functions) needing it for working through ETH.

Unfortunately activating mode 8 (hide dev9) did not solve the problem. I'm playing via usb, and so far everything is ok (fmv with a little lag, as expected, of course).

Edit: Playing via usb the game works, but slowly during battles.

This game boots normally through SMB with OPL v1.0.0, v1.1.0 and OPL 1901:

Hello. I'm having a problem with 'Lifeline' HD installation from redump.org matching 'disc' http://redump.org/disc/17682/
It was transferred to HD with WinHIIP.
I have PAL PS2 with original Sony HD controller.
Somebody already reported this game a few years ago and apparently it was fixed
https://www.psx-place.com/threads/open-ps2-loader-game-bug-reports.19401/page-11
However problem then was with game not working at all.
I'm using OPL beta 1897 and game goes to black screen and freezes some 20 minutes into story
after you open shutter with a key, instruct girl to go to shutter 4
and then help her to escape giant ceiling crawling monster by closing shutter.
I tried various Mode settings offered to previous poster in 2018 in combination with various DMA settings.
Also tried OPL versions 1.1.0 down to 0.9.1. Also tried HDLoader with no Mode and with Mode 3.
Game always freezes at this spot, except for OPL v0.9.1 & v0.9.2 on which it didn't boot at all.

i use latest beta OPL 1.2.0
And external hdd connect to ethernet on router in SMB. ps2 slim.
I noticed that with Tekken 4 USA 480i/p 60 hz, the FMV audio is not sync with video (a sort of delay) and after some minutes the FMV stop (not go until the end, in the main FMV and in secondary FMV of characters story mode).
This only in 480p, if i play on 576i 50 hz pal option, FMV are perfect.
Some of you have the same problem?
I have tried OPL 1.1.0 and seems the same, don't remember if 1.0.0 was the same but probably yes (but not sure).

Could you also test if it works on older OPL versions? (you can try 1.0 and report back if it works, if not, try 0.9.3, if still it doesn't start, try 0.9.2).

I checked a couple games with OPNPS2LD-v1.2.0-Beta-1908-4ca2475

I mostly play from internal HDD (all tests made from it), so never had problems with Dragon Quest VIII or Ratchet & Clank games.

I tested ATV Offroad Fury 4 [SCES_546.88] and Ace Combat 5 the Unsung War [SLUS_208.51], unfortunately they behave the same as usual (AC5 works perfectly on OPL 0.9.2, ATV OF 4 though, never worked I think).

Good news about Super Dragon Ball Z [SLUS_214.42], it was broken (BSOD at boot and ps2 freezed with hdd light on) since a long time (I could make it to work on old versions like OPL 0.9.3 with MODE 2), now (probably since rev. 1633 as reported by @arcadekidflo) it just works, no need of any mode (also IGR works).

I didn't managed to make many tests, 'cause this OPL version takes 20 secs. to load the list (vs 2 seconds of rev. 1319 I use). Maybe something have been changed on the games.bin reading method? I'd have to create it from scratch with OPL 1.2.0?? Since my games.bin have been created with OPL 1319.
OPL 1.0 and 1.1 are fast reading it.

The slow reading issue was fixed a few releases back though so it's strange. I get 2 seconds load time on exFAT.
Are these tests on ISO or ZSO?
