Can you test your translation with a Widescreen option turn off?
I mean at least a string with "Seleccionar Dispositivos de Bloque" (#284).

The string does not fit on a 4:3 screen and using SD resolution, because in HD it does also fit in 4: 3.
Shortening the string so that it fits in 4:3 and in SD resolution would greatly lose its meaning in the
spanish language, while in 16:9 it fits perfectly with all its sense of description.
English language is ridiculously short, and that is not the case in most languages, on the contrary,
most languages are longer in their writing than english.
This should be taken into account by the OPL developers when adding a new option in the GUI, especially if
they are new options that are added in the horizontal position of the screen as it has been in this case.
It would be good for them to consult this thread as the translations in other languages look with a new
string, if 4: 3 in SD resolution is so important when this is not the common screen format nowadays.
OPL developers can solve this by reducing a little the horizontal spaces between the three columns of
options on this screen, they have enough space to be able to do it, and then most languages will look
good with this string also in 4: 3 and SD, without us having to constantly shorten the other languages
with very reduced sentences that lose a lot of sense.

What do you think about reducing this string a bit?

To: Select Devices <-> Seleccionar Dispositivos
or: Block Devices <-> Dispositivos de Bloque
The meaning is almost the same, because the main purpose of this option is to turn on\off
devices that you have or you want to test\use.

I can change it to "Dispositivos de Bloque" (Block Devices), although i'm not sure it's clear to people that
option is selectable.
Apart from the fact that no one knows what a block device is, this option should be accompanied by
a hint at the bottom of the screen, explaining that it is a selectable option and describing what
can be selected.

In (probably) upcoming PR this option will be called "Block Devices.
There will be also a hint for it:
Turn on/off Block Devices (e.g. USB).
Turn on/off Block Device Manager (e.g. USB).
If you want you can download a test build from here:

ATM (in this build) only internal English will work properly.

Anyway soon massive translation changes are coming...
Mainly all options with Enable & Disable will be reduced, e.g.
Enable Cover Art -> Cover Art
Disable Debug Colors -> Debug Colors
New hints, e.g. under "Block Devices".
Some unused verses will be deleted.
