PS3 Package installer

Hi guys,

I need help to hide or delete the ability to install package while keep HEN Enable normally.

Is there a way or a guide to it ?

yes, you can hide it by cancelling out its query in the game category explore xml iirc, but you'll have to undo it whenever you want it to appear again. however, the ps3 has had a lot of homebrew over the years, so there may be an easier way to go back and forth. @LuanTeles can tell you how to do the method I mentioned at the beginning.

Go to the dev_rewrite/hen/remaps directory and find the XML file named package_manager.xml. Rename its file extension from .xml to .bak just in case you want to enable it back later on

There are 2 XML... Full and Classic , both?

I'm not sure how it works on the official HEN as i use a personal fork that is slightly modded, but you can try renaming the hen_pkg_manager_full.xml to hen_pkg_manager_full.bak and reboot
