Hey all, I've been trying to setup an HDD and followed this YouTube video to a T:

The only problem is that I keep getting a "no PS2 HDD's found" error message in HDL batch installer v3.6.0. I'm using windows 10 and I've had similar error messages in OPL manager and Winhiip. Im using a 1TB WD blue HDD and Sabrent SATA to USB cable. Please help any advice is appreciated.

Admin right are mandatory due to low level access to the device. And because of that plus lack of signing, many anti-virus apps blocking HDLBI (including build-in BitDefender), even deleting automatically like a detected virus... This toolkit is safe and developer trustworthy.

I have ran all the programs as admin, and the HDD seems to function properly on the ps2 (I can start OPL from the HDD). Do you think disabling my anti virus or making some settings changes might help?

If it is an old IDE drive, you may have to switch the jumper to slave instead of master in order to get your pc to see it. or maybe it is the other way around. Its been awhile.

This is very obsolete method... by far not ultimate.
