Well, my goal was to try to merge these 2 steps into a single one - hence my request about a script. :)

Another solution would be to use your script here (HAN Enabler + Flash Mounter) as the main offline HAN Enabler. Does this script allow batck PKG install from USB root too ?
If I go this way, I should either remove the update button for DEX users either give them a link to mount flash. I guess PETT PoC PKG has one - need to check that...

@lmn7, the Offline HAN Enabler + dev_flash is slow on PS3 4K 4.84 HFW (With HAN installed). Also, the make_package_custom.exe is working well.
Can you improve the speed on the Offline HAN Enabler + dev_flash?

The only way to merge it in a script would be with the script I already posted, which works fine for me. It's the best solution we have in the context of using it as an optional update. We could just add instructions on the page which tells users what they need to do to install the resource pack.

The thing is, the user must have a USB plugged in and download the update pkg to it, then install it using package manager. There is no way around that unless you have the modded download_list.xml, but HAN users don't have it by default, and you need to mount flash to install it.

I wouldn't use the HAN enabler + flash mounter as the main HAN enabler script, simply because some games have CFW checks. I know for certain some Call of Duty games have these, but I'm not sure if they check for /dev_blind specifically. It's not worth the risk though, IMO.

And yeah all of those scripts I posted include the batch pkg installation patch.

BTW,I finally found that your script worked : the PKG downloaded was in the System Volume Information folder... I guess I did not pay attention when I wanted to store the file on USB. Will do the test again.

I think I found the bug that causes the HAN enabler to become extremely slow. When removing habib's patch, the HAN enabler works fine again. I don't know why this only affects some people. I know this is kind of off-topic for this thread but a few people have asked me about it here, so there you go.

It works i test both HAN + Batch install and Debug + Batch install
Same goes for HAN + Flash Mounter + batch install and Debug + Flash Mounter + batch install
All of them works perfectly

I confirm that before han enabler + dev mounter not work its take more time and always stuck for long time otherwise debug enabler + dev_mounter work fast and work perfect!

It is faster. To speed up even more, try and reduce number of char in the code (Ex: reduce in the page title and body)
