PS3 PKGi PS3 v1.2.2 released

From what i understand , the current format is name, url, rap, contentid, size, checksum .
My suggestion is to add extra columns , that could be named genre, age, score
But that program itself will have to modified to recognise these extra fields .
Having these would make it the perfect software !

I have got this working which, this app is great! Only query I have is on rap activations. I have a full CFW PS3 Slim. 4.81 rebug. Using PKGi, games install fine. The rap files output to hdd0/exdata. When running reactpsn it looks at usb0/usb1 for the exdata folder. Is there anything I am not doing to get the licenses to install with PKGi/Reactpsn. I could copy from hdd0 to usb0 But means I'd need to always leave in the usb. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have a question, can you download multiple files?

Today I was downloading one game (about 20gb) since I was busy at the time, I started downloading another game (without checking or installing the first game) when the second game was done I went to the installation folder and only found the second game to insta, is this normal?

if you are using "Direct download", then you can't have multiple downloads or queues.

If you use the "background download" mode, then you can queue anything you want to download, and then after reboot all the tasks will show up in the internal Download Manager (XMB).

unless the Reactpsn app is updated to support /dev_hdd0/exdata/ , you'll have to copy from HDD to USB to be able to activate the .rap files.

Another option is to update your CFW to a COBRA 8.2 firmware, and then just leave the whole .rap activation to the built-in COBRA code.

Thank you for your response, yes, I used direct download mode but It seems that my internet connection got interrupted. When I tried to download the game again it resumed at almost complete. I didn't knew there was a background mode, how do I use that? Only saw the obvious options from the menu (X to install, square for information and triangle for menu)

to select the background download mode, press :but tri: to open the menu. Scroll down and you'll see one option to select between "Direct" and "Back DL". Then press triangle again to save the settings and close the menu.

Next time you select an item, PKGi will create a background download task instead of downloading a file. Note that you'll need to reboot your PS3 after the download tasks have been created to get the download started from the XMB download manager.

I was just gonna post saying I was having the exact same trouble. Then I went on the app and pressed refresh..............everything started working for me (might help if you do that)

Hello,
I have a question, when we download a game via PKGi PS3, it then appears in the "Playstation Network content" folder inside "Package Manager", I was wondering if there was a way for all the games that is located in this folder can be installed in succession without having to manually start each installation each time the previous one is finished?

you cannot install multiple game bubbles in succession, not even with games bought and downloaded from the psn store.

I don't know if this has been asked already bucanero but with the recent PS4 homebrew tools release, will this awesome app get a further port to the ps4 by you? ;)

We all love the attention that you are spending on ps3 keep up the great work you and all others are doing for this console!

I don't have a ps4 with compatible firmware, so for now I'm unable to jump into PS4 homebrew. For sure, I enjoy doing console development, so one day you might see me on the ps4 too.

To be honest, I'll probably get into PS Vita development before getting into the ps4, as I have the PSV hardware and the VitaSDK setup ready.

Yes, it works on HEN. (I actually developed it using a super-slim PS3)
