PS3 Please help, can't load minverchk on my PS3 slim

not really, no. there may be a porblem with site right now. it could also be something with your internet connection or router settings. try a different internet connection if you can.

It was honestly rough getting that internet connection to work on my PS3.
There aren't any others I can use. ^^;
 
Well, I didn't want sounds like some blackmailer. I just want to point that site has been many times in the past under DDoS attacks, on top of that everyone just want easy hack their consoles. Those guys needs funds to keep the service alive.

In other words, if You are sure about Your console connection, just try later. After You will be happy CFW user, consider a donation. ;)

It worked better, but I don't have Flash Player 9, looks like.
Wasn't flash discontinued? I loaded youtube on the browser and it was a giant YOUT, just blown up. Nothing about updating flash.
To even load youtube I need to system update and I'm guessing since I'm on 4.87 that's not something I want to do.
 
You must have it, it is part of firmware. Maybe it is disabled? I don't remember how it works on PS3, look at XMB Settings (maybe it is the same like WMA turning on) and browser settings. Or maybe try create new user and so it on him (new user = all settings are default).

Got further than ever

now it says
"Exploitation framework library file downloading error."
This time I did a new user and it asked if I wanted to run the plugin before entering the site.

It says go to flash memory manager in the FAQ, but that tab is grayed out. I can't select it on my PS3 or browser.
The last step it says is to download nofsmpatch.bin and load it directly from the PS3. But is that dangerous without checking the version on the site?
 
yeah. make sure flash plugin is enabled in the browser settings. if it still won't show, make a new user on the ps3 (not psn) and try while using it to open the website.

So I put the file on the USB (does it have to be under PS3 folder and then updates like the first file was?)
And then load the site and it'll recognize the file?

Also. I can't find browser settings. All I have is "discontinue browser security" and then I can stop Trend Micro, whatever that is.
But in terms of settings to allow flash, it's not there.

and then discontinue browser security.

i'm sorry. i have memory problems... when you made a new user, the ps3 enabled flash for that user. as long as you use that user, flash will be enabled. (i need to make that clear in my guide too.)

the nofsm file will be loaded if you use "load from usb" instead of "load from https".

after loading the file, do not forget to click apply.

That's the thing, it didn't give me a button to load it. Just to "run plugin."
As soon as I entered the page I got a popup asking yes or no, did I want to run it
There's only the one page. I can't go to the page it asked me to on the guide. So I can't check to see if my PS3 is the right model or whatnot.

yes. you can continue tomarrow. this nothing you need to do now.

the memory editor tab is not needed to jailbreak. there will be a file manger and other tabs eventually.

So in terms of following the guide, a) I couldn't find where to start and b) how much danger am I in of bricking my PS3 if I do it wrong?
I don't want that, that would be sad.

i am not sure which guide you are using, but i wrote THIS one. start at the top and read everything. the risks are clearly stated in the guide.

3. Dump your Flash Memory onto a USB device. Check the dump using littlebalup's PyPS3checker on your computer. Save the dump and keep it safe! You might need it in the future to repair your PS3.

That's the step I'd be at, right?
I don't know how to dump flash memory. Is that on the toolset website, or can I save it to USB on the PS3 home screen?
