PS3 [Plugin] Mysis: POC Plugin v0.2-XMB/BD/In-Game SceenShots, Game Recording, Background Music and more

Will it be compatible with HEN or will it cause a brick?
most things can be done with other tools now.

webman mod can record video in game but not on memory hungry games. rebug does in game music (and remote play) on most games.

this was a proof of concept and most features can be found elsewhere now.

but with hen how would you listen to music while playing? since it tells me that only in rebug allows you to do that in some games

think hen 3.0 has this now. ive never used it but i think all you do is press ps button while playing game and goto music and start a song.

Too bad there isn't a standalone version for enabling music playback.
Anyway, it doesn't work well on 4.86.1 Rebug. Freezes on every game I have tried when exiting or at certain points.

If I recall correctly, if you disable the background music playback before exit, the crash doesn't happen.

I haven't tested, but you could try using an exit combo like: /sysbgm.ps3?disable;/xmb.ps3$exit

@aldostools

It freezes with me without even activating any button combo even when trying to exit with the impose menu.

The combo script that I posted above is to skip the impose menu.

The problem is that the audio modules are still hooked when you try to exit to XMB.

The idea is to unhook the audio modules and quit to XMB after disable the bgm using a combo instead of the impose menu.

Anyway it's just an idea based on my experience... I haven't tested if the combo really fixes the freeze.

Does the combo script work console-side or only PC?

Also, it says to press R2 to also disable the music. I tried that and didn't get a notification that it was disabled.

The web command that I posted can be executed from PC or through a custom combo.
It may not work if R2 in PoC isn't working... the code in webMAN for BGM is based in this plugin.

Could you tell me what I need to do to get this working with wMM and the console?

About R2: It works to enable the music playback on the poc plugin, but not the disabling part.
