Ducati World Racing Challenge (fixes a few crashes)

Wow, the scene is really on a roll right now. Nice find with Armored Core @Webardo! Seems like they repackaged the game for a Vita-only config at some point? Similar to what Motorhead and Spyro did.

The weird thing was I was never able to get cfg2 working alone, or any config below 0x06070070 (even 0x06070060). It could be that the PSN EBOOTs are doing something differently to get these enabled. I think our only test to see if this is true would be to figure out what one of these specific EBOOTs that are either below the 0x06070070 revision, or cfg2 only.

What about SLPS91110 SLES03377 ?

It is truly amazing to see how all you guys get configs out that fixes so many games for the PSP.
Truly amazing. This is so awesome.

There are now PSP configs for 235 unique titles. To be honest, this is a lot more than I expected we would need. We will eventually reach a stage where every game possible will work out-of-the-box after conversion and no one will need to hexedit to change game-id or change the region or other things. It will all happen automatically for every single game.

I left SLPS91110 out because that's the one on PSN, but it wouldn't hurt to add it.

About SLES03377, sorry, I missed that one :ambivalence:. Feel free to add it.

Yeah, I think they updated the eboot in 2012 or later. This AC game came out in 2007 it seems, so perhaps they updated some revisions instead of adding them to the internal table

Me neither, it's as if it never existed if the revision is different to 0x06070070. It's also possible they just forgot to add some games with a lower revision to the internal table...

There must be a few games that had a lower revision and aren't in the internal table. Perhaps that helps find out something.

EDIT: So, that Rockman Dash config works in the official eboot (second disc of Rockman Battle & Chase) even though it has a revision of 0x06070060. The lower selection in the leftmost column in the demo's menu is a boss that would have lagged without a config. This is on a PSP however, can't say anything about Vita. I'll upload it here, just to study it, because it already is on the pop-fe configs.

They didn't forget, they just didn't do it, since POPS hasn't been updated since pre 0x06070000. Any config 0x06070000 and up should work fine on PSP, but it looks like only 0x06070070+ will work on Vita.

However, Vita seems to have its own table with even more games in it, most likely all of the EBOOT configs we have found that are 0x06070070 and above, and maybe even more. I have tested Metal Gear Solid: Integral JP's official EBOOT and custom pop-fe EBOOT (with no config) and both work exactly the same. After putting a default/zeroed config in, audio glitches start happening in voice lines right away. If I were to guess correctly, a pop-fe conversion of this game will have audio glitches on PSP. Maybe if you have some time, you could test this.

And if this is true, we probably messed up with porting EVERYTHING over to Vita, lol. Mostly me, with the big chunk of configs, but we don't really know until we see the Vita's internal table. If true, even changing version to 0x06070060 should make all the current EBOOT configs we extracted PSP-only.

Let me test Rockman Dash and see if it works fine without any config on Vita. I think that will also be a good test to see how things are playing out.

EDIT: Just tested digest-ban pop-fe conversion with empty config: boss works perfect. So, I think that means all 0x06070060 and below configs have been added in for Vita! I would assume Vita also has the Spyro and Armored Core configs in its table as well, but...no idea until we see that table!

Just tested MGS Integral on my PSP and there are no sound issues, both with and without a config, which is odd, seeing as it isn't in the internal table for 6.60.
What's weirder is that I inserted a config with everything zeroed out and there still were no audio problems...

o_O

I really was not expecting that at all. Opening dialogue inside submarine (intro cutscene) is playing fine?

More configs:

Cyberia - fixes hang after intro FMV
Nickelodeon SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge - fixes slowdown
Shockwave Assault - fixes hang on mission briefing with CD error message
Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey '98 - fixes hang/error upon loading into opening screens

...and a special one...

Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace (SLUS-00884)
- config fixes multiple freezes due SPU emulation, and ppf fixes textures not loading in correctly due to scratchpad addressing
- ppf provided and made by kozarovv, so many thanks to him!
- requires both config and ppf patch (Vita only for now!)
- kozarovv is also working on a solution for PSP for its SPU issues as well, seems to be almost ready

Added. I assume the PPF will be updated when the PSP support works and there will be just a single PPF that fixes problems on both PSP and Vita?

Yes, I believe so, but we will have to see. If not, maybe some special checkbox will be needed to apply a specific PSP or Vita patch.

Also, there will probably have to be a special case for the two US versions of this game (v1.0 and v1.1). This PPF only works correctly with v1.0, but title IDs for both versions are the same. So, pop-fe will have to differentiate between the two versions and apply the correct one when the other PPFs are available.
