Are you able to add cover art, config, cheat folders? I use OPL manager to add covert art and all the other info per game. Also, looks like this batch file uses the old version of POPS, where it requires XX.game, now you can just use game id before the game name and OPL will detect it (at least the daily build version)

I'm not sure why you would use this if you are using (severely outdated) daily build.
As for the xx.game - isn't that just to disclose the file location? So like, I have SMB USB and HDD. HDD gets no prefix, USB and SMB have prefixes.
I am not aware of that changing - do share if I have this wrong.

I'd rather use a stable version of OPL if I can. Yeah my OPL-DB works, but a lot of people claim jay-jay is not exactly the most honest (or best) programmer. The fork could be full of adware, malware, bugs, etc. On the daily-build version, it detects that they are on a usb device. No renaming of the files required.

i Use OPL DB for Postater because don't exist gui for popstarter only way to use all postater games without use OPL is ulaunchef of krhacken because i don't want make xx.name.elf for 70 games, if someone make a full app GUI for Postater for use outside of OPL better until then i use on my hdd specific for PSone games the infamous OPL DB and other hdd is only OPL OFICIAL for ps2 games

This program here does the work for you.

it does but i need to extract every single game reaname it and put on folder in pc and use this app

In other words, you want the "script" to "guess" the game you are "thinking" to go and "download" it and "extract" it for you.
Dude is a script, not a "fortune teller with telekinetic powers."
They no longer make any effort.

I still don't understand what he's saying lol.
This app did the XX. and SB. and lackthereof both for me.

It looks like gamerman5000 has a couple good tutorials on how to set up Popstarter in the Apps section. Also, I can put all my other emulators there like SNES, NES, Sega since it's cluttering up the OSDSYS menu a bit. I'm going to check that out since a few people are suggesting OPL stable version is much better than DB version, especially with the new release. I may remove Popstarter and Ps2psxe altogether though since I found a few better alternatives

Best version of OPL:
Release latest · ps2homebrew/Open-PS2-Loader (github.com)

I finally got it to work right using OPL apps instead of "PS1" in daily-build, but boy did I run into some issues. Took me a few hours, but I finally got the naming and folder structure right- XX.Game.ELF for the game and XX.Game.ELF_COV.JPG for the art. I should probably write a short tutorial, since I'm not really sure if one is up, but I ran into several issues, and it's actually pretty easy once you get down to it.

I encourage you to do so! Community always can use tutorials for these types of things.
