Hello.
I have a Jailbreak PS3 SLIM PAL (MODEL CECH2004B) with CFW REGUB 4.82.2 REX connected with a RGB SCART cable to a CRT SONY TRINITRON TV and when I play a Bluray or DVD movie from a disc a green tint is applied to all the screen. This don't happen with, for example, PS3 games or the XMB PS3 menu that bring out an incredible image quality and bright colors.
I read in a 2010's threat of PlayStation Formus that the problem of green tint is caused to a PS3 copy protection inherited from the PS2.
If I play this movies connecting the PS3 with AV (RCA) or HDMI I don't have this problem but I want to know if there is any way to solve it with recent homebrew or editing something from REBUG TOOLBOX ... I do not know, something like that, I'm noob.
I have read about changing the region of DVD and Bluray or directly changing PS3 signal from PAL to NTSC through the xRegistry but I am not sure if that will work and before trying anything I have preferred to ask.
Here, here and here are the messages of a 2011's psx-scene thread that I have read about changing these settings. Apparently they are focused on solving compatibility of signal and region with games and not with movies but they can be helpful (?)
Thanks in advance.
