So to give you my personal resultsI believe we should start testing one by one.
Starting with 700MHz/800MHz and increasing in 50MHz increments, sharing screenshots using the FPS counter plugin with the FPS/Temperature/Fan Speed and Clock speeds overlays turned on.
Otherwise, this will lead to nothing. Each of us is using different clocks and no one is sharing the results.
I'm not sure if it's safe to share the .PUPs here. @STLcardsWS, what do you think? Of course, we'll add warnings, but it's mainly for testing and gathering more feedback.
@cha0shacker, @Thimblewad @XDeltaOne and @haxxxen .
It's crucial that the person creating the PUP has a hardware flasher in case the PUP is bad made, as sharing it without testing could brick other users' devices.
Maybe can @haxxen provide us the PUPs?
PS3 CECH-2104B (40nm RSX):
700/750 is the highest that worked fine so far.
I tested 750/750 and got incorrect geometry rendering in NFS Carbon and after around 30 seconds a hard crash.
So I reinstalled 700/750 to just search for artifacts and rendering issues. Didn't really find any apart from the first Crysis but im not sure if it's just the game being stupid or it is the OC.
I wasn't able to test higher memory speeds so far because I don't trust myself with the MFW build tool and I don't have a hardware flasher.
I did ask Nathan about the next CFW release and he offered to make me a personal 650/800 version (i asked for those exact clock speeds to be on the safe side for personal long terms usage as i dont quite trust the 700MHz). I didnt get that file so far but then Nathan is very busy as usual so im sure i get it, just not soon.
