So it worked on my 2501A, I'm testing. In bf4 I'm seeing artifacts. Now do you think that's the core at 750 acting up? Or memory? You are right, @cha0shacker may have it.

But the 1000 works on myAs we tested, the 250XX model only supports 700 Mhz for the core, 750 Mhz and above begin to show artifacts.
Test 700/750 and see if the artifacts is still happening.
but i can do 1000 just fine. wouldnt you say its the 750 core thats causing the artifacts? As we tested, the 250XX model only supports 700 Mhz for the core, 750 Mhz and above begin to show artifacts.

o hopefully soon you can share the 1000. im cureently testing 700/750 ill let you know in a few minutes if artifacts happen.Yeap, that's what i meant, you model should handle 1000Mhz memory without any issue, the problem is the core (based on our tests)
You can confirm it if you flash for example a 750/750 and see if the artifacts are still there, if so, we are confirming that 250xx doesn't handle 750 core.
ok s

i have zero clue of how to dump or what that means. i have only surface level knwledge. and 750 memeory is way too low. i prefer the 1000. but just to reiterate my model is 2501A manufacture date November 2010Try 750/750, if it gives you artifacts, we can confirm that your model only supports 700 Mhz for the core.
Also, post here you RSX model, take it from you LV1 dump, or send me the dump via DM.
BTW, I just found a copy of the .7z for 700 core with all memory frequencies, i'm updating it =)

ok. please let me when when the 700/1000 is done.Go to CFW Tools > Dump Tools and select Dump LV1 and send me the file, if you have a USB drive connected, it will be dumped there, if no, it will be dumped in dev_hdd0/tmp
alright ima test 750/750. let youknow if it artifacts.Go to CFW Tools > Dump Tools and select Dump LV1 and send me the file, if you have a USB drive connected, it will be dumped there, if no, it will be dumped in dev_hdd0/tmp
I need the exactly RSX model.
That's ok, i just want to gather more info about the overclock compatibility with each model. that's why i'm asking you to test in lower frenquencies
We already know that 750/1000 Mhz gave you artifacts
Now i just want to know if 750/750 Mhz stills gives artifacts
Then you can test 700/1000Mhz that should work without any issues
ok so funny news. 750/950 is seeming to be stable and free of artifacts. more testing must be done. but i feel i might be able to do 800 on the core. memery at 1000 was 100% causing artifacts.Go to CFW Tools > Dump Tools and select Dump LV1 and send me the file, if you have a USB drive connected, it will be dumped there, if no, it will be dumped in dev_hdd0/tmp

so 1000 is a no go for this model. it may vary from ps3 to ps3 but 950 is solid. even at 750 core. i think 800/950 is very possible on mine. so the 1000 sadly is unstable. ive tested 3 games now and zero artifacts or crashing.
That's unexpected, do more tests
Also, don't forget about ur lv1 dump.
How long is it supposed to take to create the dump?Your lv1 dump is incomplete, it was supposed to be 16 MB, yours is 1 MB, and please, send me via DM, not here. (via external site, because the size is not allowed here)
Delete the one you posted.

Hi, my ps3 is on 4.91. Could one of you guys make an OC update, but for 4.91? Thanks!
The one he was asking for was the newer higher OCs. Which aren't really available.4.91.2 BETA6 include overclocked versions (OC):
