From my experience, it depends on the health of your NEC Tokins. For VRAM, 900MHz is the maximum. Thanks Brother can you suggest me the best OverClocked CFW for 2008B from your collections and what is the maximum OverClocked mhz supported in 2008B
ok i understand and my ps3 is completely fine what if when my ps3 NEC Tokins are fine?so what kind of OverClocked CFW i should have to install? like 700-900From my experience, it depends on the health of your NEC Tokins. For VRAM, 900MHz is the maximum.
For the core, 650MHz, maybe 700MHz if your NEC Tokins aren't too degraded.
To verify this, test a demanding game like Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance during a good hour. If you experience a "triple beep shutdown" in game, then your NEC Tokins can't hold your current core frequency. If so, you will see 1002 errors on your SYSCON log.
To be safe 650/850 that would be your fully stable OC.ok i understand and my ps3 is completely fine what if when my ps3 NEC Tokins are fine?so what kind of OverClocked CFW i should have to install? like 700-900
Nobody can ever tell you that. Not on CPUs, not on GPUs and for sure not on consoles. Like, yea an average value but never ever go straight to X when it comes to overclocking just because someone else with a similar model reached "this" on core and "that" on VRAM, especially when we're talking about PS3 where its set via firmware, basically hardcoded and when its not done via software.ok i understand and my ps3 is completely fine what if when my ps3 NEC Tokins are fine?so what kind of OverClocked CFW i should have to install? like 700-900
You can try 700/900 but Tanzu is right, 650/850 is a good and safe OC for a 20XX.ok i understand and my ps3 is completely fine what if when my ps3 NEC Tokins are fine?so what kind of OverClocked CFW i should have to install? like 700-900

you mean e3 flasher?so should i flash with e3 flasherNot that I know of, unfortunately.
If you are really stuck without being able to update through safe mode, all I can think of is to use a hardware flasher.
Exactly. Yes, if you know how to use it, then it's probably the only solution.you mean e3 flasher?so should i flash with e3 flasher

What do you mean? He hasn't shared anything so far. At least not his results. Wonder if he's the only one testing. Major hasn't shed any light either.Since @RIP-Felix discovered the voltage by looking at the RSX string, we need to go back to it for comparison.
after using e3 flasher my ps3 show only checking please wait not updating Firmwarei o
i know how to use it.
