PS3 PS1/PS2 bios logo

On dev_flash/ps1emu (or dev_blind if you use MultiMan), replace the default ps1_rom.bin with a retail BIOS one (and rename it back to ps1_rom.bin exactly). You should now have the full boot sequence next time you load a disc/iso. Also don't forget to backup the default ps1_rom.bin just in case it doesn't work or you want to revert back to normal.

I used my SCPH-7502.BIN rom and it works perfectly fine.
Can be any retail US/EU BIOS. The PS3 changes the video mode and region according to the string present on the disc/disc image it seems.

No idea about the japanese BIOS (the ones ending with 0) as IIRC these actually had some sort of extra check? (not the same as PAL SCPH-102 BIOS which only has a video mode check.)

"This tutorial does it by replacing the PS1 bios in /dev_blind. You can do the same without touching /dev_flash by replacing "ps1_bios.bin" in /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/ and checking the option below in /setup.ps3"
