PS3 PS2 and PS1 ISOs not loading with webman or multi man

I have cfw 4.89 evilnat without Blu Ray drive because my drive is not working. Every time I try to load either a ps2 or ps1 iso with web man mod, it doesn't show up as a disc in the xmb, it just gives me an error. If I try it with multiman it just goes back to the xmb with no disc loaded. PS3 isos seem to load just fine however. Not sure if this is because of not having a Blu ray drive or a problem with the firmware, or the isos. Just wondering what could be done to fix the problem.

Verify that PS2 games are in /dev_hdd0/PS2ISO with extension .ISO or .iso
The PS1 games should be in /PSXISO with extension .BIN or .bin. The .CUE or .cue file should exist too in the same folder.

If the games are in NTFS or exFAT you may need to run prepISO again.

If the problem persists, try reinstalling the CFW. Uninstall webMAN MOD and reinstall it too.

Does nobd even support BC?

AFAIK Cobra emulated ISO doesn't work noBD (no matter if it is BC or not)
Cobra payload relies on SCSI commands between the BD driver and the console.

PS3 games from GAMES directory work from /app_home because the debug icon read the files directly from HDD.

Then that's probably his issue... @Liam Hoxsie Seems that nobd firmware can't do BC (neither PS1 nor PS2), you need to have a working drive to play PS1/PS2, even from ISO.

then i guess his only alternative is to use PS1+PS2classics PKG format

Or find a cheap daughter board and not worry again. They are only a few $$$ and all that is needed for 100% compatibly that CFW offers. Do not even need the full drive attached. Gotta CECHC like this so I married it to the system and gave it to my buddy to borrow. Works like a champ every time. Got the system for $75 & $20 for the daughter board.

Thank you so much for all of the help, I have the original board and drive the drive just doesn't work and the cable connecting the drive to the motherboard does not work.

Those cables get damaged. They are an even cheaper fix. It is 100% for sure worth doing.
