Good day people i dont know if this question has been asked yet but i want to know why some 90xxx consoles corrupts fortuna and some dont? You can go into fortuna and save OPL setting but after reset the whole fortuna corrupts.. Some other 90xxx consoles dont corrupts fortuna than you can access OPL continuously.. I need help on this topic please thanks in advance
 
I was asking because I had a similar problem with FunTuna...

By "corrupts" you mean that you cannot use Fortuna anymore?

Did you somehow change the date?
What's your console's date? Current or 209...
 
Thats correct i used it on alot of 90xxx consoles some of them work continuously with fortuna som3 of them dont it just corrupts after 1st use of fortuna i was just wondering why some of those models corrupts fortuna on memory cards
 
You see i get alot of those consoles then i do fortuna and give them to my family members i dont mess with anything in the date settings... If that is what corrupts the memory card than the dates must be current?
 
Fortuna works only if is first icon in order, in memory card content view. And it will be first only if it's creation and modification date in MCFS stay newest. Once it is not, then it will no longer boots. That's why date's are far future like i.e 2099 year.
 
It is not specific time stamp. I use it 2099 as example, You can set for Fortuna i.e 2022. It doesn't matter. Since "PS2 Browser" ordering saves by date so first on list is the newest, and while Fortuna works only as first, it is logical to use some far year from future (because i.e game save would be newest, push out Fortuna to i.e second item and make it stops working).

Exploit details wasn't revealed so we don't know why it must be first. If You are curious. ;]
 
I am not sure if you understand what is going on...

Fortuna exploit needs to have the highest date as possible (e.g. 2098),
because it has to be shown as first in the Browser.

If some other folder will have a higher date (e.g. 2099), Fortuna will not be the first and it will not work properly.
That is why I ask:

Anyway, are you using rev2 or rev1 of Fortuna?
