The PS2 placeholder is only needed on CFW by backup managers like multiMAN, webMAN MOD, PS2 Classics Manager.

The PS2 Classics GUI creates a PKG that let you launch the game directly from XMB.

Yes you don't need the place holder pkg on HAN, just the universal rap!

If you're on HAN, yes you can delete it... If you're on CFW, it's useful.
