PS2 PS2 Slim + HDD

First of all... That's referred to as "USB" and NOT "HDD" (which implies INTERNAL HDD).

Second... USB sucks.

  1. You are WRONG... ANY PS2 can be modded to have an internal HDD.
  2. 4-digit PS2 CEX models do not exist!
  3. I told you what the proper terminology is. Point blank!
  4. I answered your question.

PS2MADD then?! :P
One more time. Ps2 9000 series does not support hdd at all. The 9000 series does not have the pata interface anymore on motherboard. Are we clear yet? And the second thing i dont even know wjhat is the ps2madd. Even google dont know it.

So you didn't even look up what I am talking about, nor do you know that 75k, 77k, 79k ALSO don't have the PATA interface, or that HDPro as well as PS2MADD DO NOT NEED A PATA INTERFACE in the first place!

Thank you for providing more evidence that you chime into a topic you have ZEEERO clue of and add your mustard to the mix.
So your claim one comment before also just got falsifyed by you providing the evidence that you don't know what you are babbling about.

PS2MADD is an alternative and better variant of HDPro and I hope the developer releases it, either open source or as sold product or both.

Last but not least... 4-digit PS2 consumer models DO NOT EXIST either!

"Are we clear yet", that you are spreading misinformation, because you don't know jackshit of what you are babbling about?
"One more time"... You are a misinformation spreader!

Factually wrong. Point us on a tutorial on how to do it on 90K and Bravia TVs, please...
https://www.traderscity.com/board/productscatalog/pro-hdloader-system-ps2-slim-90xxx.html

LOL? It's sold as 90k compatible and if it works with the other DECKARD-PS2s, why should it not work with the 90k or Bravia TV?

Here are people which have it and use(d) it with the 90k.
https://circuit-board.de/forum/index.php/Thread/8310-HD-Pro-HDLoader-System-for-PS2-Slim-90xxx/

Since I provided evidence for my claim, would you mind providing evidence for yours or evidence to the contrary of what I provided (falsification), or can we agree that YOUR claim was "Factually wrong"?

Regarding PS2MADD: You know, that you can DM "him" and just ASK!

My "foul language" was only in my last post and was a reaction to HIS bullshit.

You also deleted my FACTUAL EXPOSURE of his claims being wrong, yet his false claims are still up there!

I will unlock one of my replies... The one with links and facts and look over it, so that it does NOT contain "foul language".

How can something without proper DMA access be better? I know it emulates some missing hardware features but it's pointless, not to point out there is difficulty to buy HDPro, and creator of PS2MADD clearly stated they tempt to not finishing their projects. And USB doesn't suck in ps2, it's just limited hence should be avoided for loading games other than homebrews but still, without USB in ps2 things for scene would go in different way.

You are WRONG... ANY PS2 can be modded to have an internal HDD.
You wrote 'any' then you say PS2MADD is better, how? It phisically cannot utilize ATA bus, so transfers cannot be as good as internal HDD.

you know, someone could have just said that instead of using an external HD through the USB port(which you can understand from what is written in the first post) it's better to use a MX4SIO since it's much faster and is a better option for the slim.

Mx4sio is a good thing but its not really optimal. Therefore I use only fat consoles with network adaptor and internal hdd. For me thats the Best solution for me.

Network adapter, sata board and ssd. Unbeatable.

I got a fat with an original network adapter with the sata board, and from doing a bit of testing the MX4SIO is a really good alternative, nothing beats having an internal HD but if you only got a slim using the MX4SIO is so much better than using an external HD.

And since OP seems to have a slim is better to show the options instead of whatever this post has become.

If you happen to have a router that supports usb hdd with capable firmware, SMB would be another nice option for a slim console.

70k owners may think about an internal HDD somehow, but making it clean and beautiful is quite a job. Let alone the PS2MADD.

The HDpro, the option which you need to use hdloader or a special OPL version (bouth are absolute), If its not gonna work with new versions of hombre apps, OPL for instance, I don't consider that as an option really.

SSD with PS2! it's kinda overkill, especially when talking about large capacities.

I use fat ps2. For me thats the Best model. I have not problém with space. And overal I never liked slim ps2. Of course I have them but never realynpkay on them. Yeah smb is good but never found a good and small router for that. The router that this fórum suggest is not avaible here and from ebay irs expensive.

Yes ssd is overkill. But I have only 256 GB what is enough. I dont need the full library Like ogxbox guys. They need every single game on their builds whits is ridiculous for mé when atleast 50 percent of the library is pure garbage or unplayable.
