Hey!

so i have a pretty funny "bug", which i was hoping to get some information about :D

My PAL PS2 Slim, SCPH-70004, just wont read my Original PAL Medievil PS1 Disk, the Disk works fine in my PS1, also my PS2 reads my other Original PS1 Disks i have without any problem, via the Browser or Startup, i tried 2 other games which booted without any problems, its just the Medievil disk that gets the "Disk cant be read" message, any idea why that is???

best regards for and information and help!

I have almost the same issue with Tomb Raider III.
Only 2 out of my 4 PS2 can read it.
Generally PS2 lasers are a nightmare.
You can try to change\replace it but there is no guarantee that it will work better or worse then the original that has been mounted into your PS2.
Although there is an option to calibrate it:

But you are doing it at your own risk.
When you set the value too high it can blown one of the fuses.

Nah i dont want to fiddle with the calibration. I might just try and rip the iso of the cd and burn it, maybe it will read that one :D if not thats just how it is i guess
