PS3 ps2 xenosaga episode 2 with codebreaker

the game start up when start menu go to back screen how to fix this this
How are you trying to get the codebreaker working ? i would recommend trying either
1 - Haxxxen's method of using codebreaker with PS2 games on PS3 by placing a cheat engine ELF into the games iso then puts the games ELF onto a memory card and launches it from there (it can be found on this site).
or
2 - PS2 Patch Engine, this method patches the cheats into the actual game but you can't turn them on and off, and only works with codes that start 0,1,2 if the code starts with a different number it doesn't work (can also be found on this site).

How are you loading the codebreaker ? we dont have a working disc swap on ps3 for PS2 ISO's or classics, if you have edited the games ISO to add it in then that could be why, some games have LBA and other checks to stop people adding files (this is just a guess, if you used another method please let us know),
Also if it is loading it could be a cheat thats making it crash, try loading the codebreaker then dont turn any cheats on and run the game and see if it runs, if it does then its probably a certain cheat.

I edited the games ISO and put in codebreaker made into iso again. I load the codebreaker i turn off all the cheats when load the game it work it does not go start screen of the game i get a black screen when i use unmodified copy games it work just fine

yeah sounds like you are breaking the game by rebuilding, a LOT of PS2 games use LBA to know where files on the disc are also IF its a DVD9 game make sure you are geting both layers, some games hide the 2nd layer so check the size of your rebuild as well as the LBA to make sure its unchanged (i don't have this game so i can't test it for certain but i have run across a few PS2 games that just can't be rebuilt)
if its just a simple cheat i really recommend using PS2 Patch Engine instead

OK to use cheat codes with it first they need to me codes starting with 0,1,2 if it starts with anything else it won't work in it (most simple cheats are like this but some cheats that require button presses are not)
in PS2 patch engine
here is a example of a code, basically you put your own values in there
patch=1,EE,20836500,extended,3FE3838 memory
so lets grab a cheat for Xenosaga from Gamehacking site, Find the cheat you want and click INFO and look at the Decrypted address, so i picked Inf HP and its 10A57EC4 0000270F so we put both of these into that above so it would now be
patch=1,EE,10A57EC4,extended,0000270F memory
and enter that into the PNACH section of PS2 patch engine

not sure why this would suddenly stop working on that firmware, maybe check the cobra settings to see if thats somehow interfearing, but other then that there has been no major changes to ps2 emulation on the ps3 in years, maybe try reverting to a older firmware and see if that fixes it (like go back 1 at a time to see when/where it broke) OR maybe try a alternative method, There is a swap disc method for PS2 classics now that might be able to help, not sure if it works with cheat discs but might be worth looking into, OR if all else fails you can either use Haxxxen's method of the ps2 memorycard with CB and replacing the ELF or you could try the old method of rebuilding the games iso with a cheat system directly on the disc
