Now that tonnyhacks is out. It's obvious that first ps2 mechacon support the special codes, I have read this thread and is much interesting.
Really it's impossible activate it in ps2 mode? And then call ps1drv?.
I have read the entire threat but I don't understand one thing.
Are the ps1 unlock registers aviable in ps2 mode?. the iop can view it?. Or are inaviable because is in ps2 mode?.
And if the mechacon accept it, is the mechacon reset when go into ps1 mode?.
What is the diference of the cd part in ps2 and ps1 mode?.
