PS3 PS3 CFW CECHA running PS2 DVD9 game backup disc problem

For some reason, I copied the DVD9 backup disc using the PS2 DVD9 game disc, both discs can be used on PS2, but only the real game disc can be used on the PS3, the backup disc cannot be used
This is so weird
The DVD5 disc is fine, but the DVD9 disc does not work on the PS3
Only real PS2 DVD9 game discs will work properly on the PS3
I bet it has something to do with layer bank, PTP/OTP, etc

Known issue if you've replaced your internal HDD to an SSD. It breaks PS2 burned disc compatibility. Reasons yet to be determined.
Either switch back to HDD or use ISOs.

I am using HGST HTS545050A7E380 there is no problem, I currently read all PS2 game disc, the problem is that reading DVD9 game disc will have problems, some games directly black screen, some only read layer0 content such as god of war 1&2, The game crashed mid-game because it couldn't read layer1's files

The DVD9 game disc is incorrectly read as a DVD5 game disc, so to speak,This only exists in burn disc,This does not happen if it is a real DVD9 PS2 game disc

Probably I know why this is, it is likely to be related to the way the PS3 Blu-ray drive DVD head reads disks, that is, PTP and OTP.
There are two modes for dual-layer orientation, parallel track path (PTP) and opposite track path (OTP). In PTP mode, used for DVD-ROM, both layers start recording at the inside diameter (ID) with the lead-in and end at the outside diameter (OD) with the lead-out. Sectors are sequenced from the beginning of the first layer to the end of the first layer, then the beginning of the second layer to the end of the second layer. In OTP mode, the second layer is read from the outside of the disk.

This means that it is completely impossible for the PS3 to run a burned PS2 DVD9 dual-layer game disc
Unless you can change the way the PS3 disc drive reads

Hello not that I use dvd9 backup discs but I know for the isos, to launch the dvd9 ps2 isos properly on a CECHA01 ps3, they had to be patched with toxic dual layer patcher and then they'd work, granted I'm not sure if it would help out for actual dvd9 backup discs and I don't know how toxic dual layer patcher works but maybe give it a shot.

Well, when I tried the toxic patch again and fixed the ISO and burned it, "parts of the game worked" however god of war 1&2 all worked on PS3, but other parts didn't. Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance, this game is still black Screen。
