PS3 doesn't recognise see games on USB

Hi.

I'd like to thank everyone who helped me JB the PS3.

The issue I'm having is that I can't seem to get any games get recognized.

The ISOs are in PS3ISO in the root folder. The unzipped folders that are either BLESXXX or renamed, are in GAME in the root folder. In that folder is an SFB file and two folders PS3_GAME and PS3_UPDATE.

On one USB formatted Fat32 there's a game that turns up in Irisman [Multiman didn't work for me]. Other games on the same USB drive don't turn up.

Other USB is NTFS because it's not beholden to the 4GB limit.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

The folder for extracted games should be: X:\GAMES or X:\GAMEZ (or both).

Inside these folders there should be a folder for each game with the following structure:

X:\GAMES\My Game\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\EBOOT.BIN

The folder PS3_UPDATE is optional and can be removed to save space on your hdd.

That's how the structure is and it won't read the games.
Are you using HAN or CFW, you only mention "JB" which these days can mean either? I assume CFW as you mention multiman.

If you are on CFW, double check your folder names and game structure as it works for everyone else. With your NTFS drive, it might not be compatible with the PS3.

Did you change the "GAME" folder you mentioned to "GAMES" , GAME will not work.

First you should try to boot a game backup from internal hdd
Actually... first thing is to verify if the game backup is even visible lol, either in the backup manager you are using (multiman, iris, managunz, etc) or in xmb (webman, sman plugins)
If the game is not visible is because the path is wrong
The most "legacy" paths (because are the oldest) for PS3 game backups formats are this ones:
/dev_hdd0/GAMEZ/<any2>/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN
/dev_hdd0/PS3ISO/<any2>.iso

As mentioned, you can use GAMES (instead of GAMEZ)... and where i wrote <any2> you can use any name (but dont abuse of weird characters or long names)
In this table i added a few paths... is incomplete but i guess will help you, this is what backup managers searches
