PS3 PS3 hdd partition support

Hi mates!
After losing 1TB of back'ed games for the 3rd time due to ps3 partition corruption, i was wondering if we couldn't somehow leave games in a side ntfs partition, so in case we lose main ps3 encrypted partition we could easily save games backups in an computer and then do whatwever we need to restore system.
What do you guys know or think about?

you can back your games up through FTP to your PC or Copying to an external HDD connected to the PS3. As for partitioning the internal HDD of the PS3 it can't be done.

Buy an oldschool fat4fun!!

PS3-Net-Server or USB for Isos, so a 100to200GB-HDD should be enough.

3nd time hdd fuckup?
Buy a new ps3 or use only new hdds. In this case there must be hw-defect anywhere. This kills any statistic...

i can only do that if my ps3 partition is up and running, which is exactly not the case.

As for partitioning the internal HDD of the PS3 it can't be done.

You mean it is impossible to be developed?
