Ps3 hfw browser

Can you download PKG files using the PS3 browser instead of using a flashdrive? I'm still learning. But I have a superslim running hfw hen and Multiman. I was reading about splitting the PKG to get it on there. but shouldn't it be easier to download using the browser? Is there a limit?

You can get a pkg store which allows you to just choose the game you want and ya got it but it takes longer to get the game since it has to download too, [Unwritten warez store] is pretty good imo
